- We press forward because our citizenship is in heaven

- We will have a story to tell!

I. Spiritual Thermostats (v. 6-8)

- Wholeheartedly follow the Lord.

- Their convictions are determined by God’s will not “my will”.

- Their words inspire hearts rather than melt hearts.

- Their reward is the Inheritance of the Lord.

II. They Embrace A God Sized Vision (v. 9-11)

- God Promised

- God Sustained

- God Empowered ( for our generation and beyond)

III. They Know The Lord Will Help Them (v. 12)

- Believe God is bigger than the Giants

- Take ownership; I will drive them out

IV. They Know Their Legacy Will Be their Children’s Inheritance (v. 13-15)

- Eyes of Faith.

- Their decisions will Lead the Way for future generations.

I. Receive-The Lord is Near (v. 4-5)

- Our Father Who is in Heaven is near.

- The Lord is my Shepherd Ps. 23 He Restores my soul; He Leads me.

II. Prayer-Make Your Requests Known to God (v. 6-7)

- Solitude- Take time to be Alone with God in your Prayer closet

- Simplicity- Thy Kingdom come; Align, Surrender, and Abandon your life to God.

- Supplication- Give us this day- Prayer List.

- Soul Searching- Take Ownership of your issues.

- Shalom/Peace will Guard your Heart and Mind.

III. Use God’s Word- Think on These Things (v. 8)

- Read the Bible daily- You Version Bible App Plans

- Let the Bible Read you; Journaling, underlining, meditate

IV. Finish with Faith That God Is In Control

Title: Our Spiritual Life Outside the Church Walls

Text: Ephesians 6:10-20

1. Be Strong in the Lord and in the Strength of His Might vs 10-12

- Because the Stakes are High.

- So you can stand against the Schemes of the Devil; a deadly spiritual Enemy. (v. 12)

- But the Lord is on our side; We can be strong in His strength.

- Our part is to be Strong in the Lord, God’s part supplies His strength to us.

II. Take Up the Full Armor of God (vs. 13-15)

- An All in enemy requires an all out response.

- Christ has provided Battle Tested armor for all circumstances.

- Truth, Righteousness, Gospel of Peace, Salvation.

III. Utilize Spirit Empowered Weapons (vs 16-20)

- Faith is given by God to nuke flaming missiles of the evil one (Hebrews 11).

- Sword of the Spirit is the Word of God.

- Pray at all times in the Spirit with all prayer and petition. (Jude 20-21)

- Pray for boldness and spiritual understanding to Advance.

Imagine A Church Without Walls (Acts 3)

I. Be Willing to Be Used by God (Acts 3:1-4)

- Get the salt out of the saltshaker.

- Ask God to use you outside the walls of the church.

- Lay aside your PAT - plans, agenda, and time.

II. Have Confidence God's Power is with You (Acts 3:5-6)

- Our assignment is to minister on behalf of Jesus.

- Build yourself up in the faith.

- God supplies power and we supply obedience and faith in His providence.

III. Practice the Ministry of Presence (Acts 3:7-8)

- Physical presence and relationship build trust.

- An encouraging presence of listening, prayer and wisdom.

IV. Lift Up the Name of Jesus (Acts 3:16-18)

-The Name of Jesus strengthens people.

- Jesus gives faith as He is lifted up.

- Forgiveness and new beginning is in His Name.

- Times of refreshing come when we believe in His Name.

Title: The True Gospel

Main Idea: The Gospel is driven by love not fear

I. Salvation Is By Grace Through Faith (15:5-11)

II. Be The Church Regardless Of Differences (15:12-21)

Title: The Place That God Gives to Us

Text: Numbers 13-14 (13:1, 17-20, 23, 25-28, 30-14:1, 5-9)

I. It is God’s Promised Land for His People

- It is a place of Favor, Protection, Destiny and Fulfillment.

- It is a Place For His Name.

- It is a Place for our Children’s Sake and for our City’s Sake.

II. Spy out the Land

- God wants us to see why He is calling us there.

- Wants us to Dream Big.

- Count the Cost but Respond with Big Faith.

III. The Stakes Are High (Numbers 14:30-33)

- The Stakes of Obedience-Overcomers!

- The Stakes of Disobedience- Grasshoppers and Shepherds in the Wilderness!

- Attitude determines altitude for you and your children!

IV. God Uses People With a Different Spirit (Numbers 14:6-8, 24)

- Caleb and Joshua (Josh. 14:6-14).

- Men with a different spirit don’t do things just for themselves.

- They Plant Seeds Now for Future Generations!

Title: Loving Your City

Text: Jeremiah 29:4-7, 11-14

I. Welcome to Babylon, Your New Home! (v. 4)

- Where we no longer control the narrative and it no longer feels like Home.

- We have two Choices

1. We can hang our Harps in the willow trees and let our surroundings suffocate our Witness.

2. We can follow God’s instructions to Love our city, Pray for our city, and Serve our City.

II. Find New Life and DO NOT DECREASE! (v.5-6)

- God’s will to redeem people does not change with circumstances.

- He has New Life for you and the Church wherever we are, Don’t DECREASE! but Multiply.

- Accept responsibility to BE the Church, a Church without WALLS.

III. Seek the Welfare of the City (v.7)

- What are the concerns of your city, neighborhood, workplace, school?

- Become a Blessing and part of the Solution and not the Problem.

- God uses A Spiritual Solution combined with a Realty of the City solution.

IV. God Has Bigger Plans For You Than You Can Imagine! (v.11-14)

- Plans to give you a Future and a Hope.

- Pray and God will Listen.

- Seek Him with your Heart and He will be found by you!
