I. Keep Up The Good Work Started In You Vs. 12-16

- A Precious Gift with the power to change everything.

- Because God is at work in You For His Good Pleasure.

- Called to Be Strong Lights in a Dark World.

- Hold Fast the Word of Life until the Day of Christ.

II. Salvation is Worked out Best In Community (Acts 2:41-42)

- In community we Experience God and He changes us from the Inside Out

- Believers devoted themselves:Teaching of God’s Word, Fellowship, Breaking of Bread and Prayer.

Title: Good News and Beautiful Feet! Text: Romans 10:8-15

I. Gods Word is Near You (v. 8-11)

- His Word produces Faith and it is Closer than you think.

- God has a Process for Receiving from Him.

- Believe in your heart and Confess with your mouth, you will be…..

II. God Is Generous to All Who Call On Him! (v. 12-13)

- God wants Everything to do with you!

- His Goal for us is Holy, Healed, Healthy, Humble and Happy.

III. How Can They Believe If They Have Not Heard (v. 14-15a)

- Jesus is the Living Word; we are the Book people read.

- Today's Complacency is Tomorrow's Captivity.

The Gospel Through Us

Text: Matt. 9:35-38

I. A Change of Direction (v. 35)

- Don’t Judge people, but Go to people.

- Proclaim the Good News of Hope, Deliverance and Joy.

- Practice the Good News.

II. A Change of Vision (v. 36)

- A change of heart changes what we see.

- What does Jesus want me to see in people?

- Are you Willing to take a shepherd’s role in someone’s life?

III. A Change of Motion (v. 37-38)

- God in Motion is the Lord of the Harvest.

- A Plentiful harvest- requires a movement from me to we

- Jesus asks “Will you join My movement?”

Title: The Gospel for Us: Good News in a Bad News World

Text: Luke 2:8-11

I. God Created a World He Loves (Genesis 1:1-2)

- Created the world and everything in it and called it Good.

- He created Mankind in His image to live forever and gave them a home, and a purpose for life.

- God’s Spirit brings life out of chaos and darkness, He is the same yesterday, today and forever!

II. The Fall of Man (Gen. 2:15-17, 3:6-7)

- Mankind treats God shabbily.

- Sin, evil and death were introduced to the world and Mankind lost their true home.

- Ever since the Fall we have been alienated from God, our true selves, one another and creation.

III. Good News! Jesus Came To Bring Salvation to the World God Loves (Jn 3:16, 1 Cor. 15:20-22)

- His death and Resurrection provides salvation from the penalty of sin and entrance to our true Home! (Col. 1:13-14)

- Christ alone is a Powerful Saviour! (Col. 1:15-17)

- Salvation qualifies us to stand before God, The righteous judge of all the earth. (Col. 1:22)

IV. Christ Will Come Again to Bring About a New Creation (Revelation 21:1-5)

- The Freedom and Joy of Heaven will come to earth, He will make all things new!

Inside Out: The Gospel In Us

Text: Romans 12:1-3

I. Because of the Mercy of God (v. 1a; Col. 2:13-15)

- Son of God Emptied Himself, became a Servant and Came to us (Jn. 1:14, Phil. 2:7-8).

- Jesus died on the cross as a substitute for our sin.

- Jesus rose from the grave as the First-fruits of a renewed world.

II. The Gospel Changes Us From the Inside Out (v. 1b)

- Religion tries to change us from the Outside in by rules and ought to’s.

- Jesus comes so we can be changed from the Inside Out! Changes our Want to’s!

- We can now Worship the Living God! (Heb. 9:13-14)

III. Spiritual Worship Changes Us (v. 2)

- Present our bodies as the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 6:19-20).

- Be Transformed by Renewing your Mind.

- You will be living proof of a loving God for our world.

The Gospel To Us-Its Power

Text: 1 Corinthians 1:18-31

I. The Gospel is the Power of God (v.18)

- It is not Good Advice but Good News, because we only have two paths in life; Perishing or Salvation.

- Perishing because all have sinned and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23-26)

- It is God’s Power to Save us and our choice to place our faith in Jesus Christ.

II. The Gospel Tells Us Four Things (v.24-25)

- What God wants for us; Creation (Genesis 1:27-28).

- What happened to us and what went wrong with the world; The Fall.

- What God has done in Jesus Christ to put things right; Redemption.

- How history will turn out in the end; Restoration (Rev. 19-22).

III. The Gospel is Power for Being Saved! (v. 30)

- We experience God as the source of our life in Christ (v. 21).

- Being saved means we come HOME; we enter His Kingdom.
