Change is something that happens in life whether we like or or not, sometimes we choose to change, sometimes changes happen outside out control.

Now with change, comes circumstances that we may need to adapt to that may or may not be easy.

Ive made a hell of a lot of changes over the last 6 - 12 months, particularly in my career and I have learnt a lot of lessons. Some changes have been unexpected, some have been a lot harder than expected.

All in all, change is a necessary action that we need to experience in order to move forward in life, to progress and get to that next level. It is something to be embraced be it good or bad at the time!

Its the first Guest on the show, and I had the pleasure of interviewing Entrepreneur Chris Hyland, CCO of 'Artefact' formally 'Netbooster' an International Digital Marketing Agency.

Chris tells his story of how he and his Business Partner Matt Phelan have been on an incredible journey of creating one the UK's top Digital Marketing agencies from scratch and are now part of an international brand.

They didn't stop there and along the way created 'The Happiness Index' which is a hugely successful tech based company that monitors employee satisfaction.

This week I had a few days where it hit me about how serious a commitment to is to be a successful entrepreneur. 

I ve had to make sacrifices that I didn't expect to, and learnt some valuable lessons.

I don't think a lot of people really understand the commitment of being successful in Business.

Its not just a status on your profile on Instagram or a term to use because you have quit your job. Its a day in day out full time commitment, and making money is a priority.

Its no fan club, its not sitting in Starbucks with your Laptop posting status's on Social media.

What are Click Funnels and Automated emails all about really?!

I think they are the biggest waste of money any business owner can ever pay for.

I get there is a need for automation and computer generated software, however there is no place for it if your looking to do business with people.

Nothing more annoys me than a random computer generated email sent to me, offering a service, with someones name at the bottom!

I recently had an experience with and it made me think about how we are interacting with people. Nothing beats human interaction and shaking a hand- Do the Work and make time for your customers!!

Its lazy, It doesn't work, and it just shows that you do not have any interest in really speaking to me anyway!

In this Episode I speak about why you need to be able to take a punch to the face from time to time in Business.

Taking a 'punch' isn't nice, it will happen, just like in a boxing match, but can you get back up and sock one back twice as hard?!

I believe that to be successful in business, its about how resilient you can be to problems that you face and how you can overcome them. Every person or business will face issues, some bigger than others, but what defines you is how you 'roll with the punches'

I speak about what I have learnt in the past from this, and how a 'punch to the mouth' may be painful at the time, however they can make us better, stronger and more resilient.

In this Episode I Rant about why it is critical to take pride in what you do, always!

A recent observation of some people working, I as shocked about the lack of pride some individuals have in what they do day to day, especially in their work or business.

Lacking pride is a lack of opinion of yourself, and this will reflect in how successful you will eventually be.

Having pride in what I do in in my DNA, and no matter what the circumstances, it comes natural to me to always want to meet my clients or customers or whoever's expectations. I'm not saying I'm perfect or don't make mistakes, but pride is what makes you stand out, and eventually, whether you will make it or not!. 

Also, I speak about why its important to take pride in giving  'value' upfront and why its important to lead with this, especially in business.

I used to be very money driven and didn't appreciate the importance of leading with value first. Hear more about some of my own experiances in this episode.
