You get 12 months to do the curriculum and access the coaching:

    Who It’s For?

    • If you are NEW to grant writing and have never written a grant before
    • If you have written some grants and looking to get better at writing grants
    • If you are wanting to open a freelance grant writing business on the side (in addition to your 9-5)
    • If you want to leave your 9-5 and open a freelance grant writing business
    • If you already have a freelance grant writing business but your systems are a hot mess

Students in the Academy are writing their first grants and getting clients. And others have decades of grant writing experience, but are now booking out their freelance grant writing businesses with ideal clients and working LESS while earning more.

What’s Inside the Freelance Grant Writer Academy?

    Business Curriculum

We help you figure out your services, get your business set up, manage your money, and manage your calendar! You will learn our very own Unique Industry Concept formula, where you will always STAND out. Everything you need to start a business!

    Pricing & Sales Curriculum

We teach you our Ethical Nonprofit Sales Strategy and Value-based Pricing. Walk into sales calls with confidence and never back down on your pricing again.

    Unlimited Customized Grant Reviews

We mentioned this above, but it’s so good we are making sure you see it! We are the only program in the industry that offers grant reviews. We have been writing grants for 20 years and federal reviewers for 10 years. When we review your grants and give feedback, your grant success rate increases exponentially and you refine your grant writing skills. (We charge $2,500 for reviewing grants to the public. You get as many grants reviewed as you want throughout the entire program! This is a no-brainer).

Twice per month Live Coaching Calls

Ask anything in our coaching calls from sales questions, dealing with troublesome clients, how to run a grant workshop, and more. We have space for you to bring any question related to your skills and business to these very powerful calls! And if you can’t come, you can access a private podcast for all replays.

    Daily Slack Channel

Did you win a grant? Or maybe you are wanting to know where to grab a logic model, feedback on a contract, or having imposter syndrome with posting your new company on LinkedIn. We got you. Our expert coaches will respond to any question, and it’s a great place to interact with your community.

    Personalized Business Feedback

Want us to give you feedback on your website? How about giving you feedback on your pricing? Need input on how to structure your services? Want us to look over a retainer before sending it to a client? Anything to do with your business, we look over and give you personalized feedback. This alone is HUGE as it’s the little decisions in business that cause paralysis. When you have a coach – who has literally made a successful six-figure business as a freelance grant writer and worked with more than 100 successful freelance grant writers  – give you feedback, this will help you drive your business forward peacefully and quickly.

    Grant Writing Curriculum

You learn how to write a master grant template in 30 days. In fact, we have our 30-day Live Challenge to write a Master Grant Application starting Feb. 5th. We are also the only program in the industry that offers grant reviews and feedback on your grants. Having grant experts even review ONE grant is easily worth the entire price of the program.

    Bonus Skill Curriculum

We also teach you how to get paid and facilitate Nonprofit Strategic Planning, a Nonprofit Wellness Audit, and a Grant Feasibility Study.

How to Make Your Investment Back in One Sale

A question that underlines a lot of them is… Will I get a return on my investment?

It’s easy to make a quick ROI inside the Academy.

In fact, on average, folks who come in are making an average of $41,530 within 5 months.

That’s crazy bananas. There is literally no other program that I know of that has this kind of ROI.

How are they getting this type of revenue so quickly?

Let me start to say that they aren’t all experienced grant writers.

This is a combination of first-time grant writers and seasoned grant writers!

    They use our systems.

They get clear on services with our Unique Industry Concept.

They stop discounting their prices by using our Value-Based Pricing.

They show up confidently in sales calls with our Ethical Nonprofit Sales Strategy.

They overcome imposter syndrome with our Unlimited Grant Reviews.

Additionally, they make an immediate ROI of their $2,500 investment by using any of the following:

#1) One Grant Prospect Sale for $2,500

Our Academy students learn our process in putting together a Grant Research Prospect Report.

They learn how to do research so that they find the BEST-fit prospects for their clients and deliver high-quality services.

Plus, they get a template report so they don’t have to worry about creating something pretty.

They sell this for $2,500. To ONE client.

    They sell this multiple times.

#2) They sell a Master Grant Template for $3,000

    About Jen Bowen

Jen Bowen, with 25 years of experience at HBO, most recently served as Senior VP of Worldwide  Content Sales, selling iconic Original Programming globally.

While she loved the creativity and  storytelling she was surrounded by, her motivation to continually take on new challenges and  contribute more meaningfully to society for the second half of her career led to a career pivot.

She began immersing herself in the nonprofit world, including becoming Board Chair for Chance  2 Dance, an inclusive and accommodating dance studio for students of varying physical and  cognitive abilities. The passion and creativity of nonprofits fueled her, but having an inside look  into nonprofits, she quickly realized that the chaos of the nonprofit world could benefit from  some of the structure of corporate organizations.

With an education in journalism and a passion for writing and research, Jen chose to capitalize  on her diverse skill set by specializing in grant writing. Her extensive experience in sales at HBO  honed her skills for crafting compelling pitches, as well as listening to clients’ needs and figuring  out the best approach to collaborate. Jen’s goal is to connect funders seeking to make a positive  impact with nonprofits poised to leverage their support for transformative change.

With a blend of  corporate acumen and a heart for social impact, Jen Bowen is dedicated to bridging the gap  between profit and purpose, creating a lasting legacy of positive change.
