Fellow former Ohioan and current religious heretic Brian Allen Mitchell was in the studio to talk all things Jehovah's Witness. Growing up in the Cleveland area, Brian talks about his religious upbringing which included converting people door-to-door like a vacuum salesman, smoking "the devil's grass" and how women played an integral role in forsaking his faith! Growing up in Alabama carries certain connotations: typically white or African-American, Christian and the worship of football. But what if you are Muslim growing up in the Bible Belt? Things might be a little out of the norm for both you and your neighbors. Atheer Yacoub is a comic in NYC but was raised in Alabama after being born in Palestine.

Atheer is a very funny comic who talks about how her unique upbringing shapes her comedy, her level of faith and how she views the socio-economic plight that is America! We talk about how much we have in common despite our disparate differences, the state of comedy today and she talks about her career in nutrition! Tahlia and Timothy J. Robinson are siblings and old friends of mine who I had the honor of sitting down with; catching up about all things South Carolina, family and culture.

Tahlia is a comedic actor, musician and improviser who debuted her solo one woman show this year "The Real Bubble Lives of Building 104" at the People's Improv Theater in NYC as well as the Piccolo Spoleto Festival in Charleston, SC. Tahlia is also an esteemed member for the sketch group "All Female Reboot" and cast member of the award winning play "Hidden Fences."

Timothy Robinson, aka Huck Tim, a classically trained musician, a former member of the hip-hop group PitchBlack Brass Band and currently a freelance musician working on the road with a plethora of talented musicians, most notably George Clinton and His Parliament-Funkadelic collective.

"I should have just been able to be Asian" is an odd statement from someone who is Asian.

A lot of people, myself included, have always pinholed anyone Asian as being just one of a few sets of ethnicities when in fact there are so many more. Bryan Yang is a comic and writer living in NYC but was Southern born, California bred and the grandson of a clandestine CIA operative for the Hmong people of Laos during the Vietnam War.

Carolyn Castiglia is a comic, writer, actor, producer and Head Editor at the forthcoming comedy app Laugh Exchange. Jared Waters is a very funny southern comic who walks with Jesus. Having been raised in a military family, around the globe; Jared has a unique perspective on being a country boy in a modern world, the wonders of Darius Rucker's country music and not hating Trump as a black man.
