Mark Reiss is an LA born, Virginia raised and now New York resident comic. Mark has come to the conclusion that they are transitioning from male to female, an awareness that they say has been coming for some time now. I have never talked to someone who has ever had this realization or the tenacity to pursue this venture in life. The episode is very interesting as I learn the thought process of someone experiencing this, basically, in real time. Mark is still figuring out a lot of this on their own so we are lite on humor and a lot going on in intrigue.

Usama Siddiquee is a Canadian born, Texas raised, Bangladeshi comic in New York City. Usama is one of the hardest working, fastest rising comics working today. We sat down and discussed his upbringing, the perceptions and challenges he faced as a brown person in Texas plus we talk the nuances of Islam and how we all, regardless of religion, chase one thing: sweet, sweet ass. Boris Khaykin is a straight, white male (oh no!) BUT....he is different than me in that he was born Jewish under the Communist Regime of the USSR during the Cold War and immigrated to America in the 90's. We talk about Russian culture, our perceptions of our respective backgrounds and how Russian playgrounds rooted out the weak, inferior children unworthy of fleeing their country.

I talk with comedian, writer (contributor to SNL) and tour mate Anne Victoria Clark about her being a viral sensation, Harvey Weinstein, getting quoted by The Rock Dwayne Johnson and my bike getting stolen! Also, I introduce a new segment called "Ask A White Man" and we both fail to plug our show this weekend the PIT in NYC!!! Fun times!!!

Jeffrey Joseph is one of the most accomplished comics and actors that I have ever had drinks with. His extensive resume includes roles on the "Sopranos", "Family Ties", movies like "Scrooged", "Made In America" and "Dave." As a comic he's appeared on the Tonight Show, Night Train with Wyatt Cenac and written for In Living Color. But what I am most impressed by Jeffrey is his work outside of the entertainment business, assisting at risk youth at Riker's Island Penitentiary in New York City.

For anyone who's ever been to jail or are familiar with the penal and judicial system (*ahem*, me) you know that prison is a vortex that swallows lives up whole and never relinquishes them. Most people don't experience it and instead of thumbing his nose at helping others, Jeffrey dived right in to assist. We talk about that on the latest episode of Derek Mansplains It All.
