God is preparing our church for something. We have enjoyed His visitation in our service many times recently. We must respond to His presence so that its purpose can be fulfilled. When God moves, He does so for a purpose. A service where God moves can be refreshing, but God has a greater purpose than just our refreshing. We must have a sense and a sensitivity to what God is doing and look deeper than what we are feeling. God is bringing people to the church. These people are hurting, lost, and needing a place of healing. We have to create an atmosphere where God can work in their lives. There are about five channels through which God moves. He will not move the same way every time, and we have to learn to discern how He is moving to know how to react appropriately. The way God moves is dictated by who is present and what they need. God knows who will be there and what they need before they even gather together. Our text uses the illustration of a farmer planting different crops. The farmer has the wisdom to know what to plant where and how to harvest the different crops. When we learn to discern how God is moving, we prepare ourselves with the wisdom to reap the outcome that God desires.
