Publisher's Summary:
What would you do to celebrate your freedom after your first serious relationship breaks down? After nearly four years with Jeff, everything fell apart. I found myself single, scared, but somehow liberated as well. Rather than stumble into another ill-advised relationship, my best friend Sally helped me find focus. I would spend the next few months "finding myself" sexually. That's how The Rebound List was born.
My journey begins with the first item on my list - a virgin. The other items on the list? A silver fox, a stranger, and a threesome. But it's not easy to go from squeaky-clean committed girlfriend to wanton sex goddess: I have a tendency to let my emotions get in the way. Hopefully I'll have the guts to follow through!

An interesting idea
The idea for the story in intriguing and for the most part it is well written, a couple of times the writing because a bit repetitive but this only happened occasionally.
I kept waiting for things to go wrong, but for the most part they didn't and when revelations did happen it wasn't in the way I'd expected. I liked that the characters didn't react in a stereotypical manner, it kept things interesting.
The narration was OK, the character voices were OK, but the acing was weird at times and I found the phrasing distracting. There was also a large section of audio repeated (about a minute) and a shorter section that I noticed. I found it hard to get absorbed in the story.
This book was supplied free by the author/narrator/publisher and I voluntarily wrote this honest review.

Interesting concept for a story
Reading the description of the book, I thought it was an interesting concept for a story. The narration drove me a little bonkers and for some reason it sounded a bit hollow while listening on Sync in my car, which makes me think that there might have been some sort of quality issues as far as the recording went. Sasha White's narration was adequate, though I didn't especially care for the breathy reading. I did notice some repeated recordings of the same section in the book. I rewound it and listened again to make sure I wasn't just hearing things! lol
The story was okay. I didn't really grab me, but I know other reviews found the story to be fabulous. I think that this book just wasn't in my wheelhouse. I get the whole overall objective of the book, but just didn't find a whole lot of substance that brought the story together as a whole, other than her sleeping with people off of her "list."

Like a porn movie, but with a better story
There is a story here. It's not even hidden. But it's not really the point of the book in my humble opinion. This book is all about the graphic sex scenes, how Rebecca gets into and out of those situations, and in some small part, how she feels about everything before, during and after. Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of graphic sex scenes, and this book delivers them in spades. That is the main reason I would buy this book.
The narration was done well. Not exceptional, but not vapid or over the top either.
