Greg Heidebrink is a graduate of Iowa State University with a BS in Forest Management. He has worked as a private consulting forester and for the last 22 years as a district forester with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources. One of his favorite things to do is work with private landowners on their forest lands. He says it is fun watching them get excited about forestry! Greg also has the opportunity to work on state owned Wildlife Management Areas. The area biologists and the foresters manage these areas for a diverse mix of tree species and age classes.
