January 1st,1991, someone came into Catherine Carroll's house and attacked her while she was asleep. She ran into the bathroom as an attempt to lock herself in but was overpowered by a monster wielding a large serrated knife. Cops thought the perpetrator was obvious but that was far from true, and it took nearly 12 years to figure it out.
