She holds a Bachelor of Science in Archaeology and Art History from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. She promotes what she calls “Love in Action”, to create a better world.

Losing her son at the very young age of 21 to suicide, Laura has come through unimaginable grief. Through her journey of healing, she wrote her late son letters and poems which she has now collected in one book. It shows that, even in the face of such darkness; healing is possible.
