A support system is a network of people or facilities that provide practical or emotional support to an individual and can help a person cope with challenges or achieve goals. Who is in your support system? How often do you lean on them when you need to decompress or make a big decision? So often we run in a self-sufficient mode that doesn't allow us to move towards a growth mindset and today I'm sharing why it's important to take time to connect with those in our circle and the benefits that can come with opening up.

This is part 3 in the 4 part series, What's Your Story? This week I'm sharing how a find at the antique store got me to thinking about how when thinking about our own personal story is similar to a scrap book. It's made up of several pieces that account for us as the whole we are today. I'm asking for you to consider over the week what matters to you, evaluate your commitments and what might have to be eliminated to make room for something you are feeling called towards, decided on what you, yourself, believe in-not what the world has shaped you into believing and lastly consider taking time to pray/meditate on all of these things. This allows an opportunity to reflect, rethink, and consider who we are and who we want to be in the days to come.
