  • 101: Pisces New Moon & Shivaratri: Why the Universe is Clearing Your Path Right Now

This week, the energy is deep, transformative, and undeniably potent in February 2025. With Maha Shivaratri, the Pisces New Moon and intuitively the archetype of The Tower from the Tarot; woven together, we’re stepping into a space of dissolution, surrender, and necessary rebirth.

In this episode, we explore how Shivaratri, the great night of Shiva, invites destruction of illusion and devotion to truth. The Pisces New Moon amplifies this by dissolving what no longer serves, asking you to trust the unseen currents of your soul. And The Tower? It arrives as the catalyst—shaking the foundations you thought were stable, clearing the way for something truer.

Expect reflections and a practical guide on letting go, trusting collapse, and allowing the unknown to guide you forward. Because sometimes, the breakdown is the breakthrough.

    • A big energetic week end of February 2025

Hello my love, welcome back to the Grow Through It Podcast. We have a big week energetically coming up ahead with two significant things happening. First of all it’s Shivaratri, Shivratri is a Hindu festival honouring Shiva, an Indian deity, celebrated with fasting, prayers, and night-long vigils to seek his blessings for transformation, inner peace, and spiritual growth and we have the Pisces New Moon.

So what does this actually mean for you? I’m going to translate this energy for you as a practical guide to the week.

What is Shivaratri and what’s it got to do with The Tower in Tarot?

For those listening to where I’m based in Sydney, Australia, Shivaratri takes place Wednesday February 26th 2025 4:38pm to Thursday 27th February 2025 2:24pm.

Shivaratri means Great Night of Shiva. Shiva is the Hindu God that represents destruction which says a lot about the energy that is taking place this week. This time last year I was blessed enough to be in India during Shivaratri and it truly activated a of necessary destruction in my life including within my previous relationship and living situation – the cracks, what was not working really started to show leading to the ultimate demise 6 months later. Cyclical truly! Now this is not something to be scared of but aware think of it like when you see the tower card pop out when doing tarot (more on that later).

I know you know, who hasn’t seen that card and put it back in to reshuffle or have fear and wish you didn’t pull cards haha I certainly have an am really practicing this year not to jump to conclusions with the cards I see coming out.

Who is Lord Shiva? Shiva the deity

In India at one point there was a celebration or significant spiritual moment everyday because I guess they wanted to celebrate every day of life and the different purposes of life which is a fun fact. Nowadays truly it Shivaratri is one of the most significant events in India’s spiritual calendar.

In Hindu tradition, Lord Shiva represents destruction and renewal—the force that clears away the old to make way for the new. He is often depicted as sitting in deep meditation, symbolising inner peace and awareness.

      Shiva’s Origin Story

Shiva’s origin story is vast, layered, and deeply symbolic, woven into Hindu mythology as a representation of transformation, destruction, and divine stillness. He is known as the supreme yogi, the lord of time, and the force that dissolves what is no longer needed so that new creation can emerge. Unlike other deities, who are often depicted in palaces or adorned with riches, Shiva is an ascetic who meditates in the mountains, covered in ashes, with matted hair and a third eye that sees beyond illusion.

Unlike other gods who have birth stories, Shiva is often described as being eternal—without beginning or end. In some traditions, he is one of the three principal deities in Hinduism, forming the Trimurti along with Brahma (the creator) and Vishnu (the preserver). While Brahma brings life into existence and Vishnu sustains it, Shiva’s role is to destroy, but not in a negative sense. His destruction clears away illusions, attachments, and old cycles, making space for new life and higher wisdom.

Shiva and Parvati – the love and balance of masculine and feminine energy

One of the most well-known stories about Shiva is his love story with Parvati, who is considered the feminine aspect of divine energy (Shakti). Before Parvati, Shiva was in deep meditation after the loss of his first wife, Sati. Parvati, recognising that the world needed Shiva’s active presence, performed intense penance to win his love. Eventually, her devotion awakened Shiva from his meditation, and they were united in marriage. Their union represents balance—the merging of masculine consciousness and feminine energy. Together, they symbolise wholeness, creation, and divine partnership.

      Shivaratri and Darkness

vratri is considered the most powerful night to connect with Shiva’s energy of transformation, making it an important time for spiritual seekers. Many people observe fasting, practice silence, and engage in meditation to align with this sacred energy. Shivratri is a time to celebrate challenge. Yep celebrate it you heard me!

Darkness plays a significant role in Shivratri. The festival takes place on the darkest night of the lunar cycle, representing the unknown, the mysteries of existence, and the infinite potential hidden within the void. Instead of fearing the darkness, Shivratri teaches that it is a gateway to awakening. It is a reminder that true wisdom and self-discovery often emerge from moments of stillness, surrender, and letting go.

One of the key spiritual aspects of Shivratri is the belief that on this night, the energy of the universe is especially supportive of meditation and inner work. It is said that those who stay awake and aware through the night can experience deep states of clarity and insight. Many devotees chant sacred mantras, offer prayers, and reflect on their lives, seeking Shiva’s blessings for renewal and inner strength.

Shivaratri 2025 – Destruction as a Path to Renewal

As I mentioned earlier: Shivaratri and the Tower card in Tarot share a profound connection through the themes of destruction, transformation, and divine awakening. Shiva’s destruction is not chaotic—it’s purposeful, clearing the old to make way for new growth. Similarly, the Tower card represents the crumbling of false structures, ego, or illusions that no longer serve you. Though the process feels intense and even shocking, it ultimately paves the way for truth and enlightenment.

Shivaratri 2025 -The Fall of Ego & Surrender to the Divine

On Shivaratri, devotees stay awake, fast, and chant, surrendering to Shiva’s energy, dissolving their egoic attachments to experience a higher spiritual truth. The Tower card symbolizes a forced surrender—the collapse of the ego and outdated beliefs—leading to a deeper understanding of one’s true self.

      Shivaratri 2025 – Lightning & Divine Intervention

The Tower card often depicts lightning striking the tower, representing sudden divine intervention that shakes up life. In Hindu mythology, Shiva’s energy is likened to a lightning bolt—swift, powerful, and transformational. Shivaratri is believed to be a time when cosmic energies are heightened, allowing for rapid inner shifts and spiritual awakening.

Shivaratri 2025 – Seeing Through and Beyond Illusions

Both Shivaratri and the Tower symbolize spiritual breakthroughs that come after upheaval.

The lesson? What seems like destruction is actually a blessing in disguise—a clearing of the old so something more authentic can emerge. Whether through ritual or revelation, both Shivaratri and the Tower card lead to liberation, clarity, and spiritual rebirth.

      Shivaratri 2025 – Universal Consciousness

Even for those who do not believe in Hinduism it’s not about religion but for spirituality, Shivratri carries a universal message. It invites everyone to embrace change rather than resist it, to find stillness in the chaos of life, and to trust in the cycles of creation, destruction and renewal. It is a night to reflect on personal growth, release what no longer serves and step into a new version of oneself with greater awareness and purpose.

How to use the energy of Shivaratri in 2025

How can you participate in Shiavatri?

      Meditate particularly in the evening

Doing some inner work or journaling in the evening – I may add a great night to do shadow work (I’ll share some questions in a moment for you)

      Fast

Burn incense or light a candle in honour of shivatri in the evening

Chant the Shiva Mantra 108 times, “Om Namah Shivaya”

Shivaratri 2025 – Journaling Prompts and Questions

      Embracing Inner Darkness

What aspects of yourself have you been avoiding or suppressing? How can you bring light to these shadows without judgment?

      Transformation and Renewal

Shiva represents destruction as a path to new creation. What old habits, belief or attachments are you ready to release in order to make space for new growth in your life?

Balance of Masculine and Feminine Energies

Shiva’s union with Parvati represents the balance between masculine and feminine energies. How do you balance both aspects within yourself, and in what areas of your life could this balance be strengthened?

Cycles of Creation, Destruction, and Rebirth

Life is a constant cycle of creation, destruction, and rebirth. What phase are you currently in—are you in a period of destruction, creation, or renewal? How can you embrace the current cycle you’re experiencing?where you’ve been resisting change?

      Personal Transformation through Stillness

Reflect on a time when you experienced significant personal growth. What role did stillness, meditation, or self-reflection play in that transformation? How can you invite more of this into your life today?

Shivaratri 2025 and Pisces New Moon February 2025

What follows Shivratri as I mentioned is the Pisces New Moon taking place Australia AEDT 11:44am on Friday 28th of February 2025.

The Pisces New Moon marks the end of the astrological year of 2024, as Pisces is the final sign of the zodiac. It represents a time of closure, surrender and reflection before Aries season begins a new cycle and we have eclipse season coming (March 2025 is going to be one for the books!). In fact it’s believed the Pisces New Moon opens the Eclipse portal.

Pisces New Moon 2025 – Eclipse Portal to March 2025

When a New Moon opens the eclipse portal, it acts as a doorway into fated shifts—revealing what needs to dissolve and where you are being guided next. Pisces, as the final sign of the zodiac, is already about endings, surrender, intuition, and higher wisdom, and when paired with the eclipse portal, this energy intensifies.

I’m intuitively feeling that this isn’t like a traditional new moon about manifestation – it really is not the time for forceful manifestation but rather for allowing things to unfold and trusting the deeper currents of your life. Pisces energy asks: Can you release attachment to outcomes and let yourself flow with what is?

Pisces is the most spiritual sign of the Zodiac and don’t forget collective destiny is aligning with Pisces in the north node for 2025 (January 12, 2025 – July 26, 2026). For the next 18 months collectively and especially those with Pisces in their chart will be experiencing more significantly spirituality, surrender, creativity, imagination and being in touch with our emotions.

Themes and energies of Pisces New Moon 2025

Key Themes of This Eclipse Portal

🌑 Surrender & Release – What in your life is coming to a natural ending? What are you ready to let go of?

🌑 Intuitive Guidance – Pay attention to dreams, synchronicities, and gut feelings—your soul is speaking.

🌑 Emotional Cleansing – Old wounds, patterns, or illusions may surface to be healed before the next chapter begins.

🌑 New Soul Contracts – Eclipses often bring destined connections, opportunities, or closures—trust the shifts.

🌑 Heightened Sensitivity – Pisces energy is deeply empathetic; protect your energy and prioritise inner peace.

Since this New Moon is the last before eclipse season, it’s a threshold moment—what you set in motion now will unfold in unpredictable but significant ways over the next six months.

Pisces New Moon Journaling Prompts and Questions

      Intuitively I am finding it a really powerful time to tap into creativity and so my journal prompts for this Pisces new moon centre around that;

If your creativity had no limits or expectations, what would you create?

What emotions or visions feel ready to be expressed through art, words, or movement?

How does your intuition guide your creative process?

If you could receive a creative message from your higher self, what would it be?

What dreams, symbols, or subconscious themes are asking to be woven into your creative work

Pisces New Moon – Jupiter Expansion and Abundance

The 2025 Pisces New Moon is making a connection with Jupiter, the planet of abundance and expansion so it’s a beautiful timing knowing what you let go of now will expand you now and later on. Though the shadow being it can exaggerate feelings and experiences at this time. Really this week is where the spiritual veil is thin and I encourage you to use that to your advantage really creating and making space and time for your practices that connect you more deeply to your intuition.

            1. You don’t have to “fix” yourself to be worthy.

The Learning: You’ve been taught that growth is about fixing—about identifying flaws, working on them, and eventually becoming better. This belief makes it seem like self-worth is something you have to earn, something that’s always just out of reach. It keeps you in a cycle of never feeling enough, because no matter how much you heal, there will always be another layer.

The Unlearning: Growth isn’t about becoming enough—it’s about realising you already are. The real work isn’t fixing; it’s remembering who you were before you were told you were broken. Your worth has never been conditional. Every version of you—past, present, and future—is already whole. When you stop striving for worthiness, you can start living from it.

I want you to remember that you don’t have to “fix” yourself to be worthy—because you were never broken. Even if you aren’t perfect you are worthy. You are always and will always be worthy no matter what.

Personal growth isn’t about patching up flaws or proving your value; it’s about uncovering the wholeness that has always been within you. Coaching invites you to see yourself with compassion, to shift limiting beliefs, and to move forward not because you need to be fixed, but because you deserve to grow, expand, and live fully as you are.

I see so many clients carrying shame, and it breaks my heart—because at its core, shame is the quiet, heavy belief that you are somehow broken. It whispers that if only you could fix this part of yourself, heal faster, do more, then you’d finally be enough. But that’s not true.

Shame isn’t a sign that you’re flawed; it’s a wound that forms when you’ve been made to believe your worth is conditional. Coaching helps you unravel that belief, not by forcing change, but by helping you see that nothing about you was ever wrong to begin with. The moment you stop trying to earn your worthiness and start trusting that it’s already yours, everything shifts—your confidence, your choices, and your ability to show up fully in your life.

            2. Healing doesn’t mean you’ll never feel pain again.

The Learning: It’s easy to believe healing is about reaching a state where nothing triggers you anymore, where past wounds stop aching, and where you can finally say, “I’m done.” But this expectation sets you up for disappointment. The truth is, healing doesn’t erase pain; it changes your relationship with it.

The Unlearning: Growth isn’t about eliminating discomfort; it’s about leaning in – with grace and self awareness. Pain may still arise, but you no longer collapse under its weight. Instead of fearing its return, you trust your ability to meet it with compassion. Healing isn’t an end point—it’s an ongoing process of deepening your self-trust, learning that you can navigate whatever comes next.

Even as a life coach, deeply committed to growth—for myself and for others—I still experience moments of doubt, grief and uncertainty. If you’re human you will no matter how rich, beautiful, intelligent etc etc you are. I’ve been through multiple dark nights of the soul, and maybe you have too – not because we’re doing something wrong, but because healing isn’t a destination; it’s a continuous unfolding.

The difference now is that I don’t see pain as a setback—I see it as part of the process. Coaching isn’t about eliminating struggle; it’s about equipping you with the tools, the self awareness, and the inner resilience to navigate life’s inevitable challenges without losing yourself in them.

            3. Discipline isn’t about forcing—it’s about commitment and devotion.

The Learning: Discipline has often been framed as something harsh, something that requires relentless willpower, restriction, and forcing yourself to do things even when you don’t want to. This mindset creates burnout, resentment and a disconnection from your deeper why.

The Unlearning: True consistency comes from love, not rigid self-punishment. When you shift from force to devotion, everything changes. Devotion is fuelled by purpose, by the deep knowing that you want to show up—not because you have to, but because you get to. The most sustainable discipline is the kind that honours your rhythms and is rooted in care rather than control.

This year, in 2025, I’ve really honed in on what it means to approach discipline from a place of love—especially when it comes to my spiritual practices and physical health. In the past, discipline felt like force, like something I had to do to be good enough, productive enough, or worthy enough.

But I’ve learned that true discipline isn’t about punishment; it’s about devotion. Making time to exercise, to move my body, to show up for my practices—it’s not about fixing myself, but about caring for myself. When discipline is rooted in love, it stops feeling like a chore and starts feeling like a sacred commitment to your own well being. And that shift changes everything.

            4. The “right path” doesn’t exist.

The Learning: You’ve been conditioned to believe there’s a single “correct” path—the one that leads to success, fulfillment, or happiness. This belief can create anxiety around decision-making, making you feel like one wrong turn will ruin everything.

The Unlearning: Every choice expands you in a different way—there’s no singular “correct” way forward. Life isn’t a straight path; it’s a landscape of possibilities. Some roads will challenge you. Some will surprise you. Some will lead to detours that reveal exactly what you needed. The path isn’t something you find—it’s something you create with every step

The “right path” doesn’t exist, and that’s something I’ve come to truly embrace. We often get caught in the pressure of making the “perfect” choice, believing there’s only one way forward that guarantees success, happiness, or fulfillment. But in reality, there’s just a path—a series of choices—and none of them are inherently right or wrong.

It’s about choosing and moving forward with the intention to learn and grow along the way. I’ve shared this idea in a reel before, and it resonates deeply: even if you think you’re making the “wrong” choice, you can always make it right. The path is yours to shape, not a fixed destination waiting to be reached. The beauty of life is in the journey, and every turn you take offers an opportunity for expansion, even when it feels uncertain.

            5. If it doesn’t feel aligned, pushing harder won’t make it work.

The Learning: You’ve been told that persistence is always the answer. That if something isn’t working, you just need to try harder, be more disciplined, or prove your commitment. But this belief keeps you stuck in things that drain you—relationships, careers, goals that no longer fit—because you’re afraid to “quit.”

The Unlearning: Effort isn’t the solution when something isn’t meant for you. Alignment isn’t about how hard you push—it’s about how deeply something feels right. If something requires constant force, if it leaves you exhausted rather than energised, it might not be your path. Letting go isn’t failure; it’s wisdom.

When clients face the frustration of pushing harder but still not seeing results, I always try to help them step back and ask themselves the key question: Why do you keep pushing? If something doesn’t feel aligned, the answer often lies not in working harder, but in understanding why you’re forcing it in the first place.

Our intuition has a way of signalling when something isn’t meant for us, but we can sometimes ignore those nudges, believing that effort is the solution. The truth is, forcing something that doesn’t align with your values, energy, or purpose often leads to burnout, frustration, and disconnect. Pushing harder doesn’t make it work; it’s about recognising when it’s time to pause, reassess, and either realign your approach or let go. When you stop pushing against the flow, you make space for clarity, ease, and the alignment that will guide you in the right direction.

            6. Feeling lost is not a sign of failure—it’s an initiation.

The Learning: There’s a fear that being lost means you’re falling behind, failing, or making mistakes. You may compare yourself to others who seem more “together” and wonder why you don’t have clarity.

The Unlearning: Every transformation begins with uncertainty. Trust the in-between. Feeling lost isn’t a detour—it’s part of the process. It’s the space where old identities dissolve and new possibilities emerge. When you stop resisting the unknown, you can lean into curiosity and discover what’s waiting for you beyond certainty.

Feeling lost is one of the most beautiful things that can happen in the journey of personal growth. So many people come to coaching because they feel lost, unsure of who they are, what they want, or where they’re headed. And that’s exactly where the magic begins. To be lost is to be in the space of transformation, where the old you is shedding and making room for the new. It’s the process of unlearning, letting go of limiting beliefs, and finding clarity through the confusion.

The age-old saying, “You have to get lost to be found,” holds deep truth because it’s in these moments of uncertainty that you discover parts of yourself you may have never known existed. Coaching isn’t about giving you all the answers; it’s about guiding you through this initiation, helping you trust the process, and empowering you to find your own way out of the fog

            7. Just because you’re good at something doesn’t mean you have to keep doing it.

The Learning: You might believe that if you’re talented at something, you should pursue it. That turning away from it would be wasteful or irresponsible. This belief keeps people trapped in careers, relationships, or lifestyles that no longer bring joy, simply because they’re “good” at them.

The Unlearning: Your talents don’t define your destiny. Desire does. Just because you can doesn’t mean you must. What lights you up is just as important as what you excel at. Give yourself permission to walk away from what no longer excites you and toward what calls you—even if it makes no logical sense to others.

Before stepping into life coaching, I excelled in marketing and brand strategy—I was good at it, and I loved the work itself (the crazy hours and demanding timelines not so much). It did bring me success, and even now, I incorporate those skills into my coaching practice to help clients elevate their businesses and careers.

But life coaching is something I’m deeply passionate about in my mind body heart and soul. I’m good at it, I love it, and it lights me up in a way that just marketing  and brand strategy full time no longer does. This doesn’t mean I’ve abandoned my past strengths or talents. Rather, it means I’ve embraced the freedom to evolve and pursue what feels most aligned in the present moment. Just because you’re talented at something doesn’t mean you’re stuck doing it forever; sometimes, your heart calls you to something new, and that’s when true growth happens. You don’t have to keep doing what you’re good at if it no longer nourishes your soul.

            8. You don’t have to “be confident” before you start.

The Learning: Confidence is often seen as something you need to develop before you take action. This belief makes people wait—holding themselves back until they feel ready, capable, or fearless.

The Unlearning: Confidence is a byproduct of action, not a prerequisite for it. You don’t gain confidence by waiting; you gain it by doing. Every time you take a step, you prove to yourself that you can. The more you move, the more confident you become—not because the fear disappears, but because you stop letting it control you.

In my experience, it’s the bravery to start—even without confidence—that unlocks it. Whether it’s starting personal growth work, getting help, or stepping into something new, confidence isn’t a prerequisite; it’s a byproduct of courage. You get better by doing, you gain confidence by showing up, and you learn to trust yourself more with every step you take. So if you’re waiting for the perfect confidence to appear before making a move, let this be your sign: start now. Be brave. The confidence will follow.

            9. Letting go isn’t about force—it’s about softening.

The Learning: Letting go is often seen as something active—something you do, as if you need to rip something away, cut ties abruptly, or force yourself to move on. But this approach can make letting go feel painful, as if you’re prying something from your grasp.

The Unlearning: You don’t have to pry something from your grip; you just have to loosen your hold. Letting go isn’t an act of force—it’s an act of trust. It’s choosing to release, to surrender, to soften. It’s allowing what’s meant for you to stay and what’s not to drift away naturally.

We often think that holding on tightly is a sign of strength, but in reality, it’s the opposite. It takes far more strength to loosen your grip and trust the flow of life. When we hold on—whether it’s to old habits, beliefs, or relationships—we create resistance. We think we’re protecting ourselves, but we’re actually keeping ourselves stuck in a cycle of tension. Letting go is much harder, because it asks us to trust, to release control, and to believe that we are safe even in the unknown. The true strength lies in allowing things to evolve naturally, not forcing them to stay the same. It’s in softening that you find the peace and freedom you’ve been seeking.

            10. Personal growth isn’t about becoming someone new—it’s about remembering who you’ve always been.

The Learning: Growth is often framed as a process of becoming—as if the best version of you is somewhere in the future, waiting for you to catch up. This makes you feel like you have to chase an idealized version of yourself.

The Unlearning: The most profound evolution is a return to yourself. Growth isn’t about adding layers; it’s about peeling them away. It’s not about striving to be someone else—it’s about coming home to who you already are. Beneath the conditioning, the expectations, and the stories you’ve been told, there is a version of you that has always known the way. Trust that.

We often think growth means reinventing ourselves, becoming a “better” version of who we are, but in truth, growth is about peeling back, unlearning, the layers of conditioning, beliefs, and expectations that have accumulated over time. Your highest self, your true essence, has always been there, waiting to be rediscovered. It’s behind all the layers of learning and societal conditioning that shaped how you show up in the world. Unlearning is the key to returning to that authentic self, the person you were always meant to be before the world told you who you should be. The more you shed these layers, the more you reconnect to the power, wisdom, and truth that has always lived within you.

The key to personal growth? Unlearning

As we wrap up this episode, I want to remind you that personal growth isn’t always just about learning new things; it’s also about unlearning what no longer serves you. Sometimes, the most powerful shifts happen when we let go of the things that have held us back—whether that’s limiting beliefs, fears, or outdated stories about ourselves. It’s a journey of unlearning and rediscovery, shedding the layers that no longer align with your highest self. And in this process, you uncover a sense of clarity, peace, and authenticity that was always there, just waiting to be remembered.

If something from today’s episode resonated with you, I’d love for you to share your thoughts and leave a review. • The cynicism of men

Hey, beautiful souls, and welcome back to the Grow Through It Podcast with Phi Dang (that’s me). With Valentine’s Day around the corner, I know this time of year can bring up all kinds of emotions—love, longing, frustration, and maybe even cynicism. You might be thinking, ‘Where are all the good men?’ or ‘Why does everyone else seem to find love but me?’ Or maybe you’re in a relationship and you’re unhappy or even if you are, aside from your partner or a few friends perhaps you’ve lost your faith in men. If that sounds familiar, this episode is for you.

My own personal example of good men

This episode came to me like a lightning bolt and the urge to do it perhaps because I am on my own journey. I came out of a relationship last year and it was challenging to be honest with you and it tested my good faith in men through my own projections. Recently I had an incident with my car at the beginning of the year going 100km an hour towards the beach down south here luckily on a country road because I must have run over something and it shredded my tire. I mean shredded. Only the central metal bit left. I panicked because I have no idea how to fix a tire, I was in the middle of no where, what was I to do?

I kid you 5 minutes later, a man pulled over to help me. He was in his SUV with like 4 children and without any hesitation helped me. I was so grateful and he said to me, I wanted to show my children this is what good men do, good humans really. I want to especially show my boys what it is to be a good man and I did the very thing I would do for my daughters and want other men should they be in your situation. Honestly it moved me to tears.

With my spare tyre in fact I got to the petrol station to sort it out because the rear end of my car came off and unexpectedly two men which I would stereotypically class as “bikies” helped me they were again so sweet and gave me a specific tape for cars in case something else happened when they left.

From that moment I’ve had really lovely interactions with men, I mean to the point of a nice man randomly buying me a coffee and pastry the day I had to take me car in for a service all stressed.

Why women don’t believe in good men: disappointment and hurt

Many women feel disillusioned about love, especially if they’ve been hurt or let down before. Maybe you’ve given your heart to someone who didn’t handle it with care. Maybe you’ve been strung along, ghosted, or left wondering why you weren’t “enough” for someone to stay. Or maybe you’ve witnessed relationships around you that only rein forced the idea that love is hard, unreliable, or even painful. Over time, these experiences can build up, creating an invisible wall between you and the kind of love you truly desire.

Social media, men suck and no good men are out there

And then there’s social media—a place where heartache is turned into entertainment. Everywhere you look, there are jokes about how “men ain’t sh*t,” how modern dating is a dumpster fire, and how settling is the only option if you don’t want to end up alone. It’s easy to laugh along, repost the memes, and bond with friends over shared frustration. But what if that belief is keeping you stuck? What if, every time you reinforce the idea that “good men don’t exist,” you’re unintentionally closing yourself off to the very thing you want most?

Duality and reality of good men

This episode isn’t about pretending that bad experiences don’t exist. You’ve been hurt, and that hurt is real. It’s valid to feel frustrated, disappointed, or even wary when it comes to love. But what if you could honour your experiences without letting them define your future? What if, instead of carrying those wounds as proof that love is doomed, you allowed them to be stepping stones toward a deeper understanding of what you truly need?

Today, we’re shifting the focus. Instead of asking, “Why does this always happen to me?” we’re exploring, “How can I open to love in a way that feels safe, nourishing, and real?” Because love is real. Good men do exist. And the more you allow yourself to believe that, the more likely you are to recognise love when it arrives.

In a relationship but doubt good men

Maybe you’re already in a relationship, but you still find yourself questioning whether good men really exist. Perhaps your partner is loving and supportive, yet deep down, you struggle to fully trust it. Maybe past wounds make it hard for you to receive love without skepticism, or you catch yourself waiting for the other shoe to drop. It’s not that your partner has done anything wrong—it’s just that part of you is still carrying the weight of old heartbreaks, making it hard to relax into the love that’s already here.

              In a relationship but unhappy

Or maybe you’re with someone who isn’t showing up the way you need, and you’re wondering if settling is just part of the deal. You see other women sharing stories about their incredible, emotionally available partners, and instead of feeling inspired, you feel disheartened. Does love like that really exist, or is it just luck? Am I asking for too much? These questions can be painful, but they also hold power—because they invite you to examine what you believe about love and what you are willing to accept.

Being in a relationship doesn’t automatically erase doubts, fears, or past conditioning about love. Sometimes, it brings them even more to the surface. If you’re with a partner who treats you well, this episode is an opportunity to soften and truly receive the love you have—without fear, without suspicion, without waiting for it to disappear. And if you’re in a relationship where you don’t feel cherished, this is a chance to reflect on whether you are settling out of fear that something better doesn’t exist. Because here’s the truth: good men exist, and you deserve to be with one.

              Unlearning societal conditioning around men

Society feeds us cautionary tales about men being untrustworthy, emotionally unavailable, or selfish. From a young age, we’re conditioned to be on guard—to protect our hearts, to expect disappointment, and to believe that love is always a little bit dangerous. These messages are everywhere, subtly shaping the way we view relationships.

Pop culture often glorifies toxic dynamics—the “bad boy” who eventually changes for the right woman, the emotionally distant man who needs to be chased, the love that only becomes real after struggle and heartbreak. We’re told that passion is in the push-and-pull, that chaos is exciting, and that if a man is too kind, too available, or too stable, he must be boring. The stories we absorb through movies, music, and even social media normalise dysfunction to the point where healthy love can feel unfamiliar—or even suspicious.

Unlearning family cultural conditioning around men

Many of us also grew up hearing limiting beliefs about men from the women around us. Maybe it was an aunt who told you, “All men cheat, it’s just a matter of time.” Or a friend who insisted, “You have to lower your standards if you actually want a relationship.” Or even the quiet but persistent idea that “Men are scared of commitment,” so you have to be careful not to be too much or too needy if you want one to stay. These narratives become ingrained, making it easy to approach relationships with doubt, guardedness, or the assumption that disappointment is inevitable.

But what if those beliefs aren’t truth—just echoes of other people’s experiences and fears? What if they were passed down as protection, but they’re actually blocking you from seeing the full picture? Yes, some men are emotionally unavailable, and yes, heartbreak exists. But so does deep, healthy, reciprocal love. And there are men who are present, committed, emotionally intelligent, and genuinely invested in building something real. The key is learning to tell the difference between a belief shaped by fear and a truth shaped by experience.

              I love men – seriously I do!

Some of the best men I know are my friends and clients. They are men who listen, who communicate, who care about their partner’s emotional world. They are men who prioritise growth, who work through their own wounds so they don’t project them onto others, and who want to build relationships based on trust, respect, and genuine connection.

I’ve seen men support their partners through life’s hardest moments—holding space for their emotions, cheering them on when they doubt themselves, and making love feel like a sanctuary instead of a battleground. I’ve worked with men who are deeply introspective, who want to unlearn harmful conditioning, and who are actively working to show up as better partners, fathers, and friends.

But these men don’t always fit the stereotype of what we’ve been told to expect. They aren’t always flashy. They don’t always dominate the conversation or make grand gestures. Sometimes, they’re the ones quietly showing up, day after day, doing the work of loving with presence and consistency. And the more you train yourself to see and believe in the existence of good men, the easier it becomes to recognise them in your own life.

So if you’ve been telling yourself that love is hopeless or that good men don’t exist, I invite you to question that belief. Not by forcing toxic positivity, but by expanding your perspective. Look around. Pay attention to the men who show up, not just in relationships but in friendships, in family dynamics, in everyday moments. You might be surprised at what you start to notice.

I really do love men because what would life be literally without them and in so many other aspects.

              Healthy masculine in good men

When you take a step back and really look, you’ll see that healthy, present, emotionally intelligent men do exist—and they bring incredible value to relationships.

Men have a natural protective instinct—not in a controlling or possessive way, but in a way that makes you feel safe, both emotionally and physically. The right man wants to shield you from harm, to make sure you’re supported, and to stand beside you as a steady presence when life feels overwhelming. His protection isn’t about dominance—it’s about care.

Many men are solutions-driven. They want to fix things, to find a way forward, to make life easier for the people they love. While this can sometimes feel frustrating when all you want is to be heard, it comes from a deep desire to help. When you learn to see this trait as an expression of love, rather than a dismissal of your emotions, it becomes clear that his need to “solve” isn’t about avoiding feelings—it’s about wanting to ease your burden.

And then there’s the beautiful balance between masculine logic and feminine emotion. A good man doesn’t suppress your feelings or tell you to “calm down”—he grounds you. When you’re overwhelmed, he reminds you to breathe. When emotions run high, he brings perspective and steadiness. Not in a way that dismisses or diminishes your experience, but in a way that helps you feel everything while knowing you’re safe. His presence doesn’t dull your emotions—it gives them a foundation to rest upon.

The more you shift your focus to the good in men, the more you’ll start to see it. The more you believe in the existence of healthy, loving, protective, and emotionally available men, the more likely you are to welcome one into your life—or recognise and appreciate the one you already have.

              Vulnerability with men

Allowing yourself to believe in good men requires vulnerability. It’s often easier to protect ourselves from further pain by closing off emotionally, especially after we’ve been hurt in the past. Vulnerability feels like an open wound—it’s raw, unguarded, and scary. When we’ve experienced heartbreak, betrayal, or emotional neglect, the instinct to build walls around our hearts becomes a defence mechanism. We tell ourselves it’s better to be guarded than to risk feeling that pain again.

But the truth is, those walls that protect us also keep out the love, connection, and intimacy we deserve. While our mind might think we’re safeguarding ourselves from further hurt, our hearts are also being kept from experiencing the beautiful potential of authentic, fulfilling relationships. These walls act like a filter, blocking out anything that feels too close, too deep, or too vulnerable.

The problem with staying guarded is that it limits our ability to connect on a meaningful level. When we don’t allow ourselves to be vulnerable, we miss out on the potential for real love to blossom. It’s not just about romantic relationships—being open and vulnerable allows us to form deeper connections in all aspects of life, whether it’s with friends, family, or even ourselves. The act of lowering our defences requires trust, but trust is what allows relationships to thrive.

In order to believe in good men, we need to trust that not all experiences will repeat, and not every person is going to hurt us. This doesn’t mean ignoring past pain or pretending it didn’t happen—it means choosing to trust that healing is possible, and that love can be safe again. Allowing ourselves to be vulnerable opens the door to real connection, but it also invites us to receive love in a way that nurtures our hearts instead of protecting them.

              Male role models

If you haven’t had strong male role models in your life, it can feel challenging to believe that good men exist, let alone trust them. For many women, early experiences with men—whether form the foundation for how they perceive men in adulthood. If those early relationships were fraught with disappointment, neglect, or lack of emotional availability, it can leave lasting scars on the heart. Without seeing healthy relationships modelled in real life, it’s hard to know what a good, loving, committed man even looks like.

When there are no positive examples to draw from, we can easily fall into the belief that men are inherently unreliable, emotionally distant, or self serving. We don’t have a reference point for what true love, respect, and care can look like from a man. Without seeing men who are kind, compassionate, loyal, and willing to commit, it’s easy to generalise all men based on our experiences, or worse, based on societal stereotypes.

The absence of strong male role models can also mean that we’re not taught how to engage with men in a healthy, balanced way. We might unknowingly carry fears or misconceptions into new relationships, expecting them to mimic past patterns of disappointment or dysfunction. And without the guidance of a positive male figure, we might not even know what qualities to look for in a healthy partner.

But the good news is that you can choose to start seeing positive examples in your life now, even if they weren’t modelled for you growing up. Start by looking at the men around you—whether it’s friends, colleagues, mentors, or even positive portrayals in the media. The more you expand your view of men, the more you’ll see that good, kind, and loving men are out there.

How to see the good in men practical exercises what you can do

As a life coach you know I’m not just going to talk but get into the practical. If you’re single: ”What if, instead of asking, ‘Where are all the good men?’—you started asking, ‘How can I align with healthy love?’

              Expand Your Awareness

              • The older man who holds the door open for a stranger.
              • A friend’s partner who supports her career and personal growth.
              • A male colleague who uplifts others and creates a positive work environment.
              • Write down at least three examples per day. The more you train your brain to notice, the more you’ll start to see.

              • 98: Georgia Forbes on Remembering Who You Really Are – A Journey Through Past Lives, Love & Abundance
In this episode, Georgia Forbes, Holistic Counsellor and Coach, Co Founder of the Insight Collective & Co, joins me as we dive into the often unspoken of and unseen threads that shape life’s journey—past lives, money mindset, mystical connections, and the deep wisdom of your intuition. What if unconditional love wasn’t something to seek but something to remember? This was something uncovered on the Recharge and Renew Retreat in Bali last year. Together, we explore the ways softening allows you to receive more—more unconditional divine love, more abundance, more trust in yourself.

We also unpack the layers of money mindset, shifting from scarcity and struggle to a sense of effortless flow. Through play, connection, and synchronicity, you’ll see how the universe is always speaking to you, inviting you to step into a more aligned and abundant life.

Alongside this, we explore the sisterhood wound—the deep-seated fear of being seen, of truly trusting and being held by other women. We unravel the patterns of being the caretaker, always carrying the weight for others, and how this ties into the balance between masculine and feminine energy.

Furthermore we discuss how embracing and leaning into play is so important and fun but not only that: it’s a portal to your inner child, the part of you that knows how to trust, imagine, and receive without resistance. When you reconnect with this innocence, healing happens, opening you to deeper joy, creativity, and a more expansive way of being.

Join us as we reflect on the magic of the Recharge and Renew Bali retreat—where your intuition sharpens, old patterns dissolve, and a greater sense of confidence emerges. This is your invitation to reconnect with the wisdom already within you and embrace the path unfolding before you.

                          • Happy New Year…Again! Well Year of the Snake and Aquarius New Moon 2025

                            Happy new year my love!

Most years I find January is slow, chilled maybe even dragged out but 2025? Oh no honey. This year has personally and professionally just been flat out that before I knew it last week was the human design new year and now today is the Lunar New Year. If you’re an astrological girly you may find the 29th of March later this year new year because it’s the first new moon of the astrological calendar.

Either way can you feel it in the energy that 2025 is going to be big!? It’s the cosmic invitation of 2025: Year of the Snake, Aquarius New Moon, and Renewal Led by the Energy of The Moon (feminine in nature, emotional, fluctuating). Because I love you guys I’m going to give two sets of journaling prompts – journaling questions for the Aquarius New Moon and Year of the Snake.

Welcome to this special episode where I’m going to dive deep into the transformative energies surrounding the Lunar New Year, the Aquarius New Moon, and the year of the Snake in 2025. First of all I want you to take a moment to anchor and let it sink in the shifting tides of the collective, tune into your own inner compass, and step boldly into a year of innovation, evolution, and authenticity.

Current Energy 29th January Astrology Planets

Let’s start with the Aquarius New Moon which aligns with the transformative rebirth driven aligned Pluto and fuelled by the expansive, curious energy of Jupiter in Gemini. This moon whispers: What are you ready to let go of? What do you need to birth into reality?

In the backdrop, January has already brought dynamic shifts.      Jupiter and Uranus turning direct have cleared the path for forward momentum, while the North Node in Pisces and South Node in Virgo guide us away from rigid perfectionism and into the flow of intuitive compassion. Uranus in Taurus continues to shake up the foundations of what we value—be it our relationships, careers, or the planet itself—asking us to redefine what truly matters.

Pluto, as always, demands deep transformation. It doesn’t let us hide in comfort zones or cling to outdated beliefs. Instead, it calls us to confront and dismantle what no longer serves, paving the way for a future built on liberation, truth, and aligned purpose.

Let’s start off the Aquarius new moon.

                            Characteristics of Aquarius

Aquarius is the dreamer and the innovator, urging you to step outside the box. This isn’t just about personal evolution—it’s about contributing to something greater than yourself. Aquarius thrives in community, collaboration, and shared purpose. This New Moon asks:

How can you create something bigger than yourself?

What are you ready to give back to the world?

How can you balance visionary dreaming with grounded, practical action?

Channeled message Aquarius New Moon 2025

When I channeled this particular Aquarius New Moon in 2025 it feels like a declaration that the future isn’t meant to look like the past. This is the moon phase that dares you to dream differently, break the mould, and embrace your quirks as your superpower. As the water bearer of the zodiac, Aquarius is the sign of innovation, rebellion, and collective progress. It challenges us to reimagine what’s possible, both individually and as a community.

This isn’t the kind of energy that wants to play by the rules or follow tradition. Aquarius thrives on thinking outside the box, colouring outside the lines, and asking questions that others wouldn’t dare to consider. Under this New Moon, you’re being asked to tap into your most unconventional ideas, those ones that feel just a little too weird or ahead of their time. What if those quirks are the very thing the world is waiting for?

On a personal level, the Aquarius New Moon is a time to rewrite the narrative. Who do you want to be in this new year? Not the version that checks the boxes or follows the “shoulds,” but the version of you that dares to be unapologetically authentic. Maybe it’s the year to take up that unconventional hobby, launch a passion project no one understands yet, or join a community that aligns with your values, even if it feels a little out there.

Aquarius also reminds us of the power of community, but not in the traditional sense of fitting into a group. It’s about finding your people—the ones who celebrate your weirdness and inspire you to see the world differently. This New Moon asks: where can you connect with like-minded souls who want to build something unique and meaningful together?

Most importantly, this New Moon carries the energy of rebellious hope. It’s not just about leaving behind the past year; it’s about daring to build a future that feels alive, liberated, and truly yours. This is your moment to embrace what makes you different and let it light the way forward. After all, in the age of Aquarius, the boldest moves often come from the quirkiest visions.

The energy of this new moon is forward-focused, but it doesn’t bypass the inner work.

Aquarius reminds us that individual contributions feed collective progress. Journal about what “community” means to you and how you can participate in creating something meaningful.

Aquarius New Moon 2025 Aligns With The Year of the Snake

Now, layer this New Moon energy with the wisdom of the Year of the Snake in the Chinese zodiac. Snakes are symbols of renewal, transformation, and hidden wisdom. Just like a snake sheds its skin, 2025 calls you to release what’s been weighing you down—whether it’s old habits, limiting beliefs, or unresolved fears. This year is about moving with intention and grace, listening to the whispers of your inner knowing, and stepping into a lighter, freer version of yourself.

Year of the Snake 2025: Patience

The Snake doesn’t rush. Its power lies in its stillness, its ability to observe and strike when the moment is right. What areas of your life need that level of focus? Where can you move with more purpose, instead of rushing or reacting?

The Snake is the art of patience. The snake moves with purpose, never rushing, never acting impulsively. It teaches us to slow down, to listen, and to wait for the right moment before taking action. In a world that often demands instant results, the Snake’s energy asks us to trust in divine timing. This year is about cultivating quiet strength, tuning into your inner wisdom, and trusting that the seeds you plant will bear fruit when the time is right.

                            Year of the Snake: Intelligence

In Asian cultures and traditions whether it be Chinese, Vietnamese (my heritage line for example), the snake is revered as a symbol of intelligence, resilience, and love. Those born under this sign or influenced by its energy are often seen as resourceful and determined, willing to do whatever it takes to accomplish their goals.

                            2025 Element Wood Snake Zodiac

In 2025, the Snake is associated with the element of Wood, which brings a unique layer of growth, flexibility, and vitality to its energy. Wood represents life force, expansion, and the ability to adapt to challenges with grace. Think of a tree—it grows upward, reaching for the light, yet its roots anchor it firmly in the earth. The Snake’s connection to Wood reminds us to ground ourselves in our values and truth while remaining open to the winds of change. Personal growth this year might feel like a gentle, steady unfolding rather than a dramatic leap.

Wood also amplifies the Snake’s intelligence and resourcefulness. This is a year to lean into creative solutions and innovative thinking (which aligns with the Aquarius New Moon – mmmm I love alignment!).

If you’ve been feeling stuck, the energy of the Wood Snake can guide you to break free from old patterns and explore new ways of approaching your challenges. It encourages you to embrace curiosity and trust your intuition as you navigate uncharted territory. With resilience and intention, you can carve a path that aligns with your highest vision.

Year of the Snake 2025: Love and Romance

At its heart, the Snake is also a symbol of love—not just romantic love, but self-love and love for the interconnectedness of all things. In a Wood year, this love takes on a nurturing quality, inviting you to care for yourself, your relationships, and the world around you. It’s a time to prioritise what truly matters, to heal old wounds, and to build connections that uplift and inspire. The Snake’s energy reminds us that growth is most powerful when it’s rooted in love. I know that may surprise you but even in Western Culture snakes can symbolise love, especially eternal love. The snake motif was popular in Victorian jewellery, and Queen Victoria’s engagement ring featured a snake.

Year of the Snake 2025: Fertility and Abundance

Snakes have also been associated with fertility deeply connected to the cycles of life, creation, and renewal. The snake’s association with fertility is also reflected in its presence in myths and stories about creation. In some traditions, snakes are depicted as creators of worlds, the force from which life emerges. In others, they are seen as keepers of sacred knowledge, guardians of the mysteries of birth, death, and transformation. Their movements—silent, fluid, and grounded—remind us of life’s natural ebb and flow, as well as the power of adaptability and quiet strength. Fertility, in this context, is not just about reproduction but about the continual birth of new ideas, new paths, and new opportunities for growth.

Year of the Snake 2025: Indigenous Cultures

In ancient traditions, snakes were often linked to the earth’s rhythms, representing the fertility of the land, the abundance of nature, and the capacity for life to continually renew itself. In Indigenous cultures, snakes can represent the relationship between people, ancestors, and the land.

Year of the Snake 2025: Kundalini Rising Energy

In mythology and spirituality, snakes are also tied to the creative life force known as kundalini energy—a powerful, coiled energy said to rest at the base of the spine. When awakened, it rises like a snake, weaving its way through the body’s energy centers, igniting transformation and enlightenment. In this way, the fertility of the snake is not just about external creation but also about awakening your own inner power and potential. This year invites you to explore how you can channel your energy into something that deeply nourishes your soul.

Year of the Snake 2025: The Power of Silence and Observation

The Snake in the Chinese zodiac teaches us the value of silence and observation. Unlike louder, more overt personalities, the Snake relies on quiet discernment and a deep awareness of its surroundings. This energy reminds us that sometimes, stepping back, listening, and observing can offer profound insights and solutions. It’s an invitation to slow down, assess situations with care, and act only when the time is right.

Year of the Snake 2025: Complexity and Depth

Snakes are often associated with wisdom and complexity, representing the ability to see beyond surface-level appearances. This year, the Snake calls us to explore the deeper layers of ourselves and the world around us. It encourages embracing life’s ambiguities, seeing challenges as opportunities for growth, and understanding that there’s often more beneath the surface than meets the eye.

Year of the Snake 2025: Strategic Planning and Thinking

It teaches the importance of planning, patience, and knowing when to act. Instead of rushing into decisions, Snake energy encourages you to map out your path carefully and weigh the potential outcomes. This is a year to think long-term, prioritising goals that align with your core values and aspirations.

Year of the Snake 2025: Resilience and Taylor Swift!?

Snakes are known for their quiet strength and ability to endure challenges. From the zodiac perspective, the Snake embodies resilience—the kind that comes from within, not from external validation. It inspires us to develop emotional strength, rely on our inner resources, and adapt gracefully to life’s uncertainties without losing sight of our goals. It’s giving Taylor Swift Reputation Era!

Its energy invites you to strengthen your connection to your intuition and trust the subtle signals your body and emotions send you. Learning to discern truth from illusion and listening to your inner wisdom can guide you to make decisions that feel authentic and aligned

Year of the Snake 2025: Boundaries

Snakes are protective creatures, valuing their space and well-being. This zodiac sign reminds us to honor our boundaries—whether emotional, mental, or physical. It’s a call to create environments where you feel safe and respected, empowering you to focus on your personal growth and self-care without unnecessary distractions or energy drains.

Year of the Snake 2025: Journaling Prompts and Questions

Where in your life could you benefit from being more observant or strategic, and how can you practice patience while moving toward your goals?

The Snake thrives on quiet observation and deliberate action. Consider areas where rushing has held you back and how slowing down and planning more intentionally could create better outcomes.

What boundaries do you need to set to protect your energy, and how can you honor them without guilt?

Snakes are known for their ability to protect themselves. Use this prompt to identify where your energy feels drained or misused and how setting clear boundaries could create space for your well-being and growth.

How can you cultivate a deeper relationship with your intuition this year, and what practices help you listen to your inner wisdom?

The Snake teaches the value of emotional intuition and self-trust. Explore moments when your intuition guided you in the past and brainstorm ways to strengthen that connection moving forward, like meditation, journaling, or body awareness.

What outdated beliefs or habits are keeping you stuck, and how can you shed them gracefully to make room for growth?

While the idea of shedding is common with Snake energy, focus on the grace and intentionality of this process. Reflect on what no longer serves you and how you can release it with gratitude instead of resistance.

What long-term goals feel most aligned with your authentic self, and how can you create a strategic plan to achieve them?

The Snake encourages strategic thinking and clarity in action. Write about your vision for the future and break it into actionable steps, focusing on persistence rather than instant results.

In this episode, Chloe Fox, host of We’re All Just Guessing and one of my 1:1 clients since 2023, joins me to share her journey through the raw, honest and beautiful experience of being human. Together, we explore the pain and beauty of feeling deeply, what it means to be misunderstood, and navigating anxiety. Chloe opens up about her move to Japan, adapting to a new culture, and being the youngest in spaces that often challenge her growth—including her life changing experience at the Recharge and Renew Retreat in Bali.

We also dive into the challenges and wisdom of having emotional authority in Human Design, the magic of cacao ceremonies, and the power of intuition and self trust. Through Chloe’s personal experiences, we reflect on the tension between external validation and embodying your highest self. It’s a heartfelt conversation about opening your heart and leaning into life’s challenges with an open heart.

Spaces open soon for the retreat on the 31st of January. It will be in Bali once again 4th-9th of August 2025. Spaces are limited. Contact Phi for more information.

In this episode I have Zoe Teh, a collaboration designer and organisational psychologist. We podcast live on the final day of her private 1:1 retreat with me, reflecting on her transformative journey so far, starting with her decision to celebrate turning 30 by investing in herself and attending the Recharge and Renew August Bali Retreat.

Zoe shares how stepping into and deciding to attend the retreat was both an act of self care, celebration and empowerment, opening the door to mindset shifts and coming home to a sisterhood of like minded women.

We talk money mindset and abundance, uncovering blocks she hadn’t fully acknowledged, stepping into a new relationship with wealth and her capacity to manifest. Exploring her Human Design, using her sacral authority, and navigating her soul purpose revolving around laws… rules.

As a woman of colour, she speaks passionately about the importance of representation and creating inclusive spaces where diverse voices are heard. Post-retreat, she’s taking bold steps, from manifesting love and freezing her eggs to securing her future, to taking radical ownership of her life and letting go of distractions that no longer serve her to starting a new venture. The recharge and renew Bali retreat has been a catalyst for her to redefine success and truly align her purpose with her path.

                                    • What are the north node and south node? Astrology, spiritual growth, karma and destiny

Hello beautiful soul, wow of all dates 11/1 or 1/11 depending where you live what is unfolding is huge collective change karmically and in terms of our destiny. An 18.5 month chapter complete in Aries and Libra it is now Pisces and Virgo. This is all to do with what we call destiny markers what I say to simplify or the technical astrological terminology of the North and South Nodes, also known as the lunar nodes, are points where the Moon’s orbit intersects the Earth’s orbit around the Sun.

They represent the soul’s journey, with the South Node indicating past-life tendencies, comfort zones, and habits you’re meant to outgrow, while the North Node points to your soul’s purpose, growth, and the qualities you’re meant to develop in this lifetime. These points are not physical celestial bodies but carry deep spiritual significance, offering insight into karmic lessons and your ultimate path of evolution. We have collective ones as well as individual ones.

How to work out personal affect of North Node in Pisces South Node in Virgo

To find out your own individual energy, look into your astrological natal chart for placements in Pisces and Virgo for this new chapter and previously reflect upon the 18.5 month chapter that is closing on Aries and Libra. Personally I am so excited as someone with a Pisces moon. Pisces is known for feeling deeply so to have that on a collective level and leaning more into intuition, the spiritual, the woo thats chefs kiss for me.

Aries North Node Libra South Node 2023-2025

For the past 18.5 months, the Aries North Node has encouraged individuals and the collective to step into their independence, courage, and self-leadership. This energy has been about embracing bold action, taking risks, and prioritising personal desires and passions. It’s been a time of self-discovery, pushing past fears of conflict or rejection, and learning to assert oneself unapologetically. Aries has asked us to break free from codependency, release hesitation, and trust in our ability to carve our own paths, even when the way forward is uncertain. Themes of empowerment, resilience, and standing firmly in your truth have been at the forefront.

Meanwhile, the Libra South Node has highlighted the need to release unhealthy people-pleasing, reliance on others for validation, and an overemphasis on harmony at the expense of authenticity. This period has invited reflection on relationships, balance, and fairness, urging a shift from external approval to internal alignment. It’s been about unraveling patterns of avoiding conflict, over compromising, or losing individuality in partnerships. Collectively, this transit has sparked conversations around justice, fairness, and equality while also showing where outdated relationship dynamics, social structures, or cultural norms need to be rebalanced or let go.

North Node Pisces South Node Virgo energy

The collective shift of the destiny nodes affects everyone, highlighting universal themes of growth and release, but if these energies strongly align with your personal chart as I’ve said earlier—particularly your Sun, Moon, or Rising sign—you essentially become an astrological main character during this time. The areas of life these nodes touch for you feel magnified, calling for greater awareness and evolution. You may find yourself at the center of significant events, relationships, or inner transformations that mirror the collective themes, pushing you to grow in alignment with the current cosmic direction.

This influence brings opportunities for profound personal growth, but it also challenges you to release patterns that no longer serve your highest potential. Whether it’s stepping into leadership, letting go of old dynamics, or embracing your authentic self, your journey becomes a reflection of the greater collective shift, positioning you as an embodiment of the energies the world is being called to integrate.

What the shift to Pisces in the North Node means

The Pisces North Node and Virgo South Node represent a collective shift from striving for control, structure, and perfection toward embracing surrender, flow, and universal connection. Virgo South Node energy reflects the collective’s overemphasis on logic, productivity, and the need to categorise and fix everything. These traits, while valuable in their own right, can lead to burnout, hypercriticism, and a sense of disconnection from the bigger picture. As a society, this energy highlights the systems, routines, and detail-oriented mindsets that no longer serve our growth, urging us to release the illusion that we can control every aspect of life.

With the Pisces North Node, the collective is being called to trust in the unseen, cultivate compassion, and open up to spiritual and creative dimensions of life. Pisces energy asks us to let go of rigid boundaries and tap into intuition, imagination, and the wisdom of interconnectedness. This shift prioritises emotional healing, empathy, and the ability to see beyond differences, inspiring collective efforts that foster unity and deeper understanding. It’s an invitation to soften, surrender to the flow of life, and recognise the sacredness in all things, moving from a place of doing to being.

What will happen future predictions North Node in Pisces

This alignment encourages shifts in areas like mental health, spirituality, and creativity, urging collective progress toward more holistic and intuitive approaches. It might bring about greater acceptance of alternative healing practices, greater focus on emotional well-being, and a heightened appreciation for art and connection. At its highest potential, the Pisces North Node can unite humanity through shared compassion and inspire solutions to global challenges that honor the whole rather than focusing solely on the individual pieces.

I’m excited for the leaning in and emergence of embracing Pisces core elements of arts, romance, and creative expression. We are going to see more emotionally authentic, soul-nourishing forms of art. The arts during this time being mystical, fluid, and intangible. Artists may feel drawn to explore themes of spirituality, dreams, and collective consciousness, leading to a period of artistic reawakening.

North Node in Pisces Art & Creativity

Art will become more of a channel for healing. The collective shift encourages individuals to trust their inner voice and create without overthinking, embracing spontaneous and organic forms of expression. Art, music, dance, and all forms of creativity can serve as a bridge between the material and spiritual worlds. Expect an increase in art that connects with the unseen, celebrates mystery, and invites us to explore the depths of human consciousness and the universe. Symbolism, dream imagery, and abstract forms will gain more significance.

North Node in Pisces Love Dating Relationships Twin Flames Soulmates

What about oooh la la love. On a collective level, relationships and romance will increasingly move toward a spiritual, soulful dimension. The focus will shift from superficial connections toward finding soulmates, twin flames, and deeper emotional bonds. People may feel a longing for relationships that transcend the material and touch the divine.

The Pisces energy encourages us to dream big in love, but there’s also a tendency to idealise or see others through “rose-colored glasses.” Romantic relationships may be seen through a lens of fantasy, and while this can be beautiful, it may also lead to disillusionment. The collective is being asked to find a balance between idealism and reality in love, learning to let go of expectations and embrace love in its most spiritual form.

Key energetic periods North Node Pisces South Node Virgo

We can expect a lot of this to take place when we have Eclipse Seasons around March and then September in 2025; then February-March in 2026. In fact the Aries Libra chapter doesn’t officially close until the final eclipse in March 2025 handing the baton over to Pisces and Virgo.

What happened last time North Node Pisces South Node Virgo

The last time the Pisces North Node and Virgo South Node occurred was from 2006 to June 2008, a period marked by significant collective shifts that reflected the transition from control and analysis (Virgo) to surrender, intuition, and unity (Pisces). Globally, this was a time of heightened awareness of humanitarian and environmental issues, along with a growing embrace of spirituality and holistic approaches. The rise of social media platforms like Facebook (which opened to the public in 2006) began to dissolve boundaries, connecting people globally in a more fluid and intuitive way, a hallmark of Pisces energy.

In culture and media, themes of compassion and emotional storytelling took center stage. Films like The Pursuit of Happiness (2006) resonated with audiences, reflecting stories of faith, resilience, and interconnectedness. On a global scale, there were moments that pushed humanity to consider collective empathy. The aftermath of events like the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami (rebuilding efforts still ongoing in 2006) and other natural disasters highlighted the necessity of coming together in compassionate action.

North Node Pisces South Node Virgo Journaling Prompts Questions

To make this collective shift your own, embracing Pisces energy, I have some journal prompts for you.

Reflect on the last time the North Node was in Pisces (end of June 2006- mid December 2007)—what major shifts or transformations were happening in your life? How did you move through that period, and what lessons did you learn?

What parts of your life are still shaped by Virgo’s need for control, perfectionism, or over-analysis? How can you begin to release those patterns to align more with the flow of life? Identify areas where a rigid, perfectionist approach is still guiding your decisions, and ask yourself if it’s truly serving you. Consider how this focus on precision or control may cause unnecessary stress or exhaustion.

Where do you tend to be overly critical of yourself or others? How can embracing compassion and understanding change your perspective? Acknowledge where harsh judgments, either towards yourself or others, have created distance or frustration. Ask yourself what would shift if you approached these situations with more kindness, forgiveness, and empathy. Practice seeing things from a compassionate perspective, understanding that we all have our flaws and are on our own unique journeys.

How can you create more space for intuition and creativity in your life? What small steps can you take to trust your instincts more deeply? Reflect on moments when you’ve ignored your intuition in favour of logic or practicality.

Reflect on a time when you prioritised your to-do list over your emotional or spiritual needs. What would it look like to balance both, allowing room for rest and nourishment? Think about a period when your focus on work, tasks, or duties left you feeling drained or disconnected from your true self. Consider how integrating time for self-care, rest, and spiritual nourishment could bring more harmony and energy into your life. Balance doesn’t mean perfection—allow yourself to show up for both your responsibilities and your personal well-being.

How does your current routine or approach to work reflect Virgo’s influence? In what areas could you shift towards a more fluid, holistic approach, focusing on the bigger picture? Look at your daily work routine—do you find yourself stuck in repetitive tasks, focusing only on details?

Pisces asks you to embrace surrender—what do you need to release control over in your life right now? How can you practice trusting the process more? Pinpoint areas where you may be clinging to outcomes or over-planning, which could be stifling your growth. Practice letting go of the need for certainty and control, allowing life to unfold with more trust. Surrendering doesn’t mean giving up; it means releasing resistance and opening yourself up to new possibilities.

By honouring your spiritual and creative sides, you can invite more peace and authenticity into your life.

Summary North Node Pisces South Node Virgo

As we close today’s episode, we’ve explored the powerful energy of the North Node in Pisces and the South Node in Virgo, both personally and collectively. This alignment invites us to release our attachment to perfectionism and control, encouraging a deeper connection to intuition, creativity, and compassion. Remember, it’s not about rejecting Virgo’s practical wisdom but about finding balance—embracing flow, trust, and the beauty of the unknown. Let’s carry these reflections with us, allowing them to guide us toward a more authentic, harmonious way of living. If you’re looking to start this year and embrace this new 18-month chapter with clarity and purpose, I invite you to explore how you can align more deeply with your soul’s path through 1:1 coaching, Human Design readings, or one of the three retreats I’m running this year.

Until next time, stay open to the possibilities that lie in surrender, having faith in yourself and the universe and self compassion.

                                      • What to unlearn in 2025 for your growth

Hello my love and welcome to 2025. We are going to kick this year off with Unlearning. As you know I’m super passionate about all things unlearning because I even wrote a book about it – The Great Unlearning.

I know from working with clients and chatting to some of you that in 2024 it really tested your strength, there was unraveling old identities and forcing truths to the surface. It was a year of upheaval, heartbreak, and unexpected revelations—each challenge quietly preparing the soil for something new.

As 2025 dawns, unlearning becomes the sacred act of honouring those difficulties while shedding what no longer serves. It’s the gentle release of outdated beliefs, habits, and fears born from survival, making space for a life rooted in thriving. This year is a blank canvas, inviting you to paint it with your most authentic colors, free from the weight of expectations you’ve outgrown.

Unlearning in 2025 is about trusting the wisdom gained through hardship and leaning into the power of starting again. It’s a collective permission slip to question the rules that shaped you and rewrite the narrative to reflect who you’re becoming. As you unlearn, you’re not just letting go; you’re stepping forward—into a softer strength, a deeper clarity, and a life led by your own heart. This is the year you stop apologising for taking up space and begin celebrating it instead.

This episode is going to set up the vibe, tone and energy for 2025.

In 2025 we are unlearning… that if we don’t get what we want immediately, it doesn’t mean something is wrong with us.

This episode is going to set up the vibe, tone and energy for 2025.

In 2025 we are unlearning… that if we don’t get what we want immediately, it doesn’t mean something is wrong with us.

Life moves fast—too fast sometimes—and we’ve gotten used to expecting instant results. Whether it’s success, relationships, or personal growth, there’s this constant pressure to have it all figured out immediately. But that rush often leaves us feeling like something’s wrong with us if things take time. This year, we’re letting go of that mindset and choosing patience instead.

Unlearning instant gratification means realising that good things—real, meaningful things—take time to grow. It’s about trusting the process, even when it feels slow or uncertain. It’s okay if your goals don’t happen overnight or if life feels like it’s unfolding one small step at a time. That doesn’t mean you’re failing; it means you’re building something real. This year, we’re making room for that slower, steadier pace, and reminding ourselves that patience is its own kind of power.

Like actually stop and think about when you rush and things move so quickly, do you feel good? Do you feel calm? Is your nervous system good? Not getting what you want Sarah, that guy and now you’ve slept with your old situationship and feel let down by yourself. Alexa, you wanted instant business success, dropped your prices so low and now your nervous system is a wreck with how much work you have to do for so little.

In 2025 we are unlearning… settling for less than we deserve, because love and abundance is our natural state.

For too long, as women, we have been told not to ask for too much, to quiet your needs, and to accept what you’ve given—even if it doesn’t feel right. But this year, we’re letting go of those outdated beliefs. Love and abundance are not things we have to beg for; they are our natural state. Wanting more doesn’t make you demanding—it makes you in tune with your worth.

We’re also unlearning the habit of staying silent when something doesn’t sit right with us. Speaking up isn’t about being difficult; it’s about honouring yourself. Whether it’s in relationships, careers, or daily life, 2025 is the year to stop shrinking and start asking for what truly aligns with you. Because settling isn’t peace—it’s a quiet kind of discomfort. And you deserve so much more than that.

Remember love and abundance are our natural state. Why? Because these two beautiful things are rooted in who we are at our core—worthy, whole, and connected. From the moment we’re born, we are enough. We don’t have to earn love; it flows naturally from our relationships with ourselves and others. Abundance isn’t just about material things—it’s the recognition that life offers us infinite opportunities, experiences, and connections. It’s a mindset, a way of seeing the world through possibility rather than limitation.

When we strip away fear, doubt, and societal conditioning, what’s left is a sense of openness and connection—both to ourselves and the world around us. Love and abundance feel natural because they align with that truth. They remind us that we’re part of something bigger, something expansive, and that we are always deserving of having our needs met and our hearts full.

In 2025 we are unlearning… the idea that failure is the end—it’s the stepping stone to our next chapter.

We’ve been taught to fear mistakes, to see them as proof that we’re not good enough. But the truth is, failure isn’t final—it’s a stepping stone. It’s how we learn, grow, and get closer to where we’re meant to be.  Every mistake carries a lesson, and every misstep holds the wisdom we need to move forward with more clarity and confidence.

This year, we’re embracing the idea that it’s okay to get it wrong sometimes. Mistakes don’t define you—they refine you. The quicker you allow yourself to stumble, the quicker you learn what works and what doesn’t. In 2025, we’re leaving behind the fear of failure and stepping into a mindset of curiosity and resilience, knowing that every fall is just a part of the journey to something greater.

In 2025 we are unlearning… thinking our dreams are too big, and realising they are just the right size.

At some point in our lives we have all been told and maybe even taught to shrink our vision, to be “more practical,” or to not aim too high. But this year, we’re reclaiming the right to dream unapologetically—and realising that the size of your dreams is just right for you. If the vision is in your heart, it’s there for a reason.

Being a dreamer doesn’t mean staying in your head; it means pairing your imagination with action. It’s about showing up, step by step, even when the path feels uncertain. Your dreams aren’t too big—they’re waiting for you to believe in them enough to move forward. In 2025, we’re embracing the courage to dream boldly and the discipline to make those dreams a reality.

In 2025 we are unlearning… limiting beliefs about money, and inviting wealth with open arms.

Limiting beliefs that tell us money is hard to earn, doesn’t flow easily, or isn’t meant for us. For too long, we’ve held onto stories of scarcity—stories that make us feel guilty for wanting more or afraid to trust in abundance. But this year, we’re rewriting that narrative. We’re inviting wealth with open arms, knowing that it’s not selfish or greedy to desire financial freedom—it’s empowering.

Money is simply energy, a tool that amplifies who you are and what you value. By unlearning old fears, you create space for a healthier relationship with wealth—one rooted in gratitude, ease, and possibility. In 2025, we’re stepping into a mindset of abundance, knowing there is more than enough to go around and that we are worthy of receiving, keeping, and growing the wealth we desire.

In 2025 we are unlearning… believing boundaries push people away, and knowing they invite respect and love.

Many of us have felt that saying “no” or asking for what we need risks creating distance or conflict. But this year, we’re reframing boundaries for what they really are—an act of self-love and an invitation for deeper respect and connection.

Boundaries don’t block love; they create space for healthy relationships to flourish. They show others how to honor us while also showing us how to honor ourselves. In 2025, we’re embracing the truth that boundaries are not walls—they are bridges to stronger, more authentic connections. By standing firm in what we need, we open the door to relationships built on mutual care, understanding, and trust.

In 2025 we are unlearning… clinging to relationships that drain us, and making room for connections that uplift us.

Yes girly and this is coming from me, leaving and ending a year long relationship and seeing my inner circle and larger network change and evolve.

For too long, we’ve held on out of obligation, fear of being alone, or the hope that things will change. But this year, we’re letting go of connections that no longer serve our growth or well-being. We’re realising that it’s okay to step away from relationships that leave us feeling empty or exhausted.

Instead, we’re making room for relationships that lift us up, inspire us, and encourage us to be our best selves. This year, we’re choosing to surround ourselves with people who align with our values and bring positive energy into our lives. In 2025, we’re prioritising the connections that nurture our hearts, strengthen our spirits, and make us feel seen, loved, and supported.

In 2025 we are unlearning… believing strength means never asking for help, and welcoming support as a gift.

We’ve been taught that needing others is a sign of weakness, that we should handle everything ourselves to prove our resilience. But this year, we’re shifting that mindset. We’re recognizing that asking for help is not a flaw—it’s a strength.

Welcoming support isn’t about being incapable; it’s about being wise enough to know that we don’t have to carry the weight alone. Support is a gift, both for us and for those offering it, creating deeper connections and fostering collaboration. In 2025, we’re embracing the power of community, knowing that true strength comes from knowing when to ask.
