In this episode, I’m opening up about my healing journey—the twists, turns, and some of the lessons I've learned along the way. We’ll talk about why it’s okay to step back sometimes and how the journey continues even when we’re not actively "doing the work". And as always, I dig into how reconnecting with our shared humanity and the ways we’re all connected is a part of the key to moving forward.

The longest relationship we will ever have in this life is the relationship that we have with ourselves. Despite constantly being told to get to know ourselves, there aren't very many conversations of how to do that, at least not that I have heard. In this episode I discuss ways to connect to ourselves more deeply, and how to build on whatever practice you currently have.

I have noticed that situationship stories continue to be on the rise, and that we live in an era of non committal connections and where emotional unavailability is revered. Does it have to be that way though? Are we doomed to fearing connection with others and continuing emotionally tumultuous cycles? How do situationship dynamics affect other relationships in our lives and how do these dynamics affect the relationship we have with ourselves?

These are just some of the questions I try to answer in this episode, by providing food for thought and just speaking from personal experiences and perspectives. I grew up thinking being strong meant overpowering my emotions so that they wouldn't affect me, but over time it took a toll. In this episodeI reflect on what I grew up believing strength to be and how that has played a roll in how I navigate the world. With that, I discuss how I am working to reframe what I taught about strength to create a definition that is more aligned with who I am and who I want to be. I think we have the ability to reframe what strength means to us in a way that is more conducive for our personal growth and how that can impact our collective healing.

The holidays can be filled with so much joy, connection, and happiness, but can also be a time that brings up anxiety and stress when it comes to having to be around family or because of their absence.

It's been a while!

I have returned from my hiatus with some tea about what i have been up to, my process of self rediscovery and how I am creating a space for myself and others to think, find compassion, hold accountability, and move forward in a way that feels authentic to who I am in the present moment.

Life isn't easy, and it is important to recognize how Love can still be found in times of strife, struggle, and pain just as much as times filled with joy and love.

I'm so glad to be back and to learn more about you all, and myself in the process. Big things are coming and I am just so excited for the possibilities and the conversations to come.

In this short episode I reflect on what I have learned in one of my classes from this semester and how it has been a form of synchronicity as well as an affirmation to what I am doing with my podcast. The ability to integrate the information presented this semester was, in itself, a transformative experience. The information presented was directed toward teachers, but I believe that it is just as powerful for those who don't identify with that title to take in to consideration as well and wanted to share it with you all. After all, we are all capable of being the teacher and the student throughout our lives.

Oof, this episode is complex because self-love is complex (yet, somehow also so simple). We live in a world that makes it so difficult to love ourselves, so how is loving ourselves actually so radical, revolutionary, and necessary in this time in space. Join me as I talk about self-love, figuring out how to embody it, and acknowledging that it isn't always an easy process, but it's not impossible. Self-love doesn't just look one way, so give yourself the opportunity to find out what self-love looks like for you!

Vulnerability is hard, and scary... but there is so much more on the other side of it. There are opportunities, experiences, and connections that could only be possible by overcoming the fear of being seen for who you really are. In this episode I discuss my own journey of overcoming my fears and insecurities from past experiences to allow myself to be vulnerable, as well as the outcomes I have experiences because of it. It's not something that happens overnight, but there is a way to find peace in the process and remind yourself of the positive outcomes that are possible.
