If it were five years in the future, would you be reading this article or would you be watching it? As online video continues its inimitable rise, it's an interesting question to ponder.
By 2017, video will account for 69% of all consumer internet traffic, according to Cisco. Video-on-demand traffic alone will have almost trebled. Leafing through a swathe of statistics on the subject, I'm hard pressed to find any indicator that doesn't suggest rapid growth.
With online video quickly becoming a key means for people to satisfy their information and entertainment needs, small businesses that fail to include it in their internet marketing strategies will do so at their peril.
Video is the future of content marketing. That is, if it's not the here and now. Various studies show more than half of companies are already making use of the medium – a figure that's predicted to rise as more and more realize the possibilities. Nielsen claims 64% of marketers expect video to dominate their strategies in the near future. It's not difficult to see why.
When it comes to potential reach, video is peerless. YouTube receives more than one billion unique visitors every month – that's more than any other channel, apart from Facebook. One in three Britons view at least one online video a week – that's a weekly audience of more than 20 million people in the UK alone. Video can give you access to all this. Video done well can give you a slice of it. What other form of content can do the same?

4 Social Media Mistakes YOU Are Making | And How To Avoid Them
Get my free ebook: https://brandedshareables.com/best-re...
I spoke with a client of mine yesterday who has failed to see results from her social media activity after 8 years.
The challenges are not unique to her but are what I find in 95% of the professionals I encounter in business. This is not a critique of her activities only, as I could unearth the exact same omissions in 95% of those who are reading this post right now.
The challenges break down to FOUR core principles:
1. Winning Attitude
2. Publishing Content That Matters
3. Continuity
4. Scaling With Teams & Technology
Winning Attitude
“I hate social media.”, “I hate being on video.”, “Social media can be so negative.”
When I hear comments like this, I know that nothing I teach will matter. A negative attitude kills all else. A positive attitude is the soil from which massive success grows.
“The pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; the optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty“. – Winston Churchill
If you see the difficulty, you will create it. If you see an opportunity, you will create it. Simple.
If you can’t develop a positive attitude, how do you expect to be “social” on social media?
Social media is a massive opportunity. When you see it for yourself.
Publishing Content That Matters
This is a key part of this: “That Matters”.
If you’re publishing content because you “have to” or “Because it's what you're supposed to, I guess…”, this lackadaisical attitude will come across in every piece of content you create and post.
Your content won’t resonate with anyone. It will be bland and unworthy of following and sharing. Bland doesn’t succeed in social media.
One must have a deep understanding of what matters to oneself, as well as what matters to whom you are attempting to connect with and influence.
When you create content that demonstrates that you give a shit, then people will begin to take notice.
Continuity
Continuity is defined as, “the fact of something continuing for a long period of time without being changed or stopped.”
Brand building on social media requires continuity.
Brands that don’t appreciate the fact that it requires continuity to build awareness and trust simply do not understand the principles of branding, audiences, and how the mind works.
Scaling With Teams & Technology
Sooner or later, you have to leverage the work of teams and technology to scale your brand’s presence. Whether you hire a marketing agency or a virtual assistant, you will need to scale if you want to obtain your big, ambitious goals.
Doing it all yourself is nuts if you possess big dreams.
Sure, do it all yourself at the start. But not for 8 years.
How To Increase Referrals: 4 Different Types That Increase Sales
https://brandedshareables.com/best-re...
While multiple marketing and advertising strategies can bring you more clients, referrals from existing clients, followers, and partners will always furnish Dream Clients.
Multiple statistics and in-depth studies from several, reputable sources about the transformative power of referrals arrive at similar, proven conclusions: referrals spend more money and stay with you as clients for a longer amount of time; they become your best referral sources, often leaving the best 5-star reviews on Yelp and Google.
Moreover, they become your biggest advocates and influencers on social media where billions of people communicate on any given day. Your existing clients and contacts have the power to introduce you to those billions.
Referrals truly are Willy Wonka’s Golden Ticket in business development: pure, absolute gold.
Four Levels of Referrals That We Will Discuss
1. Soft Referrals - This is a mention of your brand on social media or a positive review posted on Google, Yelp, Facebook, etc. They are not directly telling any specific person to choose you, but many of these help online searchers to choose you over others.
2. Direct Referrals - This is an individual directly telling another to call you, show up to your store, or purchase from you.
3. Influencer Referrals - This is an influencer who in some way works with you or partners with you to send their followers and connections in your direction as a preferred brand.
4. Partnership (Joint Venture) Referrals - This is a formalized business-marketing agreement between two or more brands, often called “Co-Branding”. The purpose is to work together as non-competitors to serve and sell to similar audiences.

The Core Principals of Business Growth | Transformational Growth

The Importance of Principles for Business And Financial Success | Transformational Growth
Principle (noun)
1. A fundamental truth or proposition that serves as the foundation for a system of belief or behavior or for a chain of reasoning.
2. A basic idea or rule that explains or controls how something happens or works.
3. Derived from Latin, principium (that which is first).
Our understanding and abilities to succeed are largely shaped by the core principles which we have taught, sought after, articulated, and accepted.
Principles recognize what is truly fundamental and pragmatic. They help us apply truth to existing, new, or completely unknown situations. Solid principles greatly assist us in all aspects of life. Principles provide the foundation for all other conclusions we reach.
Thus, they are abundantly important. We should not take the vitalness of having, teaching, and applying principles to all aspects of our lives.
Not all principles, however, are correct. They must be reviewed and even debated to ensure that they are still applicable and fundamental to our survival and growth. By accepting a flawed set of principles, we will reach flawed conclusions.
Yet, having no principles to guide us will leave us vulnerable to being swayed by popular opinion—unable to make consistent or wise decisions, especially in the face of new difficulties or questions.
Unfortunately, as important as they are, many individuals often do not take much care in forming our guiding principles. But it is essential that we build a set of principles that are solid and true, in every aspect of life.
10 Core Principles | Transformational Growth
One: The money is in the list. Grow your list and followers as the core of all your marketing endeavors.
Two: The size of your list and followers directly influences the size of your revenue. Of course, it should be built with those who are interested in your message, products, services, and/or content.
Three: Within your list and followers are influencers. Become creative and energetic in how to directly partner with and influence your influencers.
Four: The fortune is in the follow-up. Omnipresence is a key element in how you follow up with customers, sales leads, followers, and visitors.
Five: Good service is no longer acceptable. Your service must render remarkable experiences. Remarkable experiences turn into positive, online reviews and robust referrals.
Six: Impactful communication is a Super Power. Become an Articulate Beast.
Seven: Content is King. Distribution is Queen. Engagement is the Throne. Stories are a powerful tool. The story that’s behind the products you sell is much more valuable to your customers than the actual price.
Eight: Content Marketing is the new PR. You must become your own media agency to attract the attention you desire.
Nine: Joint Ventures and co-branding are your force multipliers. Forming powerful alliances in this way can reduce the time and resources required to build your business and financial empire.
Ten: Frequency and consistency are omnipotent. Where there is discipline and consistency in branding, marketing, advertising, and public relations, there is growth.

How To Generate Referrals From Existing Clients
https://brandedshareables.com/best-re...
1. Be amazing.
If you work hard to cultivate a strong reputation by overdelivering, adding value, and providing a friendly service, then referrals will naturally come to you. No one wants to refer a mediocre company, so make sure you’re awesome. You might like to further establish your reputation by encouraging clients to leave online reviews or provide testimonials and case studies for your website.
2. Create referral collateral.
Build out specific marketing and sales collateral – emails, one-sheets, social media graphics, infographics, presentations – that can be used to answer referral questions and get a prospect over the line.
3. Let your customers talk about you.
Become a case study: interview your client about their success for your website. You can create a written testimonial or – for best results – shoot a short video.
Review your services online: 92% of customers read online reviews, and they’re vitally important in the decision-making process (according to Vendasta), so getting positive reviews on trusted websites is a great way to improve trust.
