037: Powerful Personal Branding
Powerful personal branding can change many things for you and improve your business tremendously.
Why is it that Kim Kardashian can release any product she likes and it gets sold out regardless? It's her personal branding. Her name is her asset. She has branded herself so well that she doesn't need to brand her company. Her personal brand is simply applied on any product she releases!

In our connected world, it's very easy to lose focus. There are plenty of distractions around to take our minds off our current tasks and that can be detrimental. I'm the same as you. 035: People Buy Feelings, Not Things
This is a mistake that many business owners commit. They try to sell things. What they don't understand is people buy feelings. When people make a purchase, they don't buy it solely because of its uses and its amazing features. They buy emotionally because people aren't creatures of logic. We're emotional creatures.
If you can express your feelings and invoke emotions in people, people will try to rationalise their decision even if it's illogical.

People Don't Buy Faster, Better, Cheaper They Buy...
If you're only focused on selling faster, better and cheaper, your business is bound to fail sooner or later. Faster, better and cheaper simply don't go together and if you observe closely enough, it's not all that your customers are looking for.

How To Sell A Bible
Instead, think about the transformational journey of someone who might want to own a bible. That means you've got to instead focus on people who are interested in Christianity! These are the people whom you should target should you wish to sell bibles because they are interested in the contents of the book and do not currently own one!
This is a really simple concept that can actually make many people rethink their target audience. Most people tend to choose people who already own the product. Target those who would want to or are likely to purchase your product instead!

Why Customers Don't Buy From Y?
Make no mistake, the reason why customers don't buy from you is usually your fault, but that's a good thing because it means you hold the power to change for the better and ensure that your customers buy from you the next time.
Usually the mistake falls on your messaging or how you present your offer.
If you have an irresistible offer, there really is no reason why people would not want to buy from you but first, you have to understand the difference between your product/service vs your offer. You see, an offer is a bundle that you create to give alongside your product/service.
Selling a gym membership? Don't just give them 3 months free on top of the 1 month membership, because that can be easily modelled from other gyms and your offer wouldn't seem so amazing anymore.
Give them diet plans, personal trainer sessions and exclusive gym wear to represent their involvement with your gym. This makes them proud to be part of your gym and also everything you give them is useful with their gym endeavours. Because of this bundling, you can even charge higher.
False belief is something that your customers believe, that's wrong and that you have the solution to. If someone comes to me and tell me that they are unable to create content because they don't know what content to create and therefore they wouldn't want to join my personal branding course, I will offer them a 15 minutes training on how to generate unlimited content idea.
They are then more likely to join me in my course.
There are three types of false beliefs.
They either doubt your solution, themselves or external factors. Make sure you prepare for those types of false beliefs and soon, you won't be wondering why customers don't buy from you anymore.

Content To Attract Your Target Audience
I'm sure you want to ensure that you put out content to attract your target audience, but many often are unsure of what kind of content that can successfully capture their target audience's attention and keep them reeled in. Well, actually, you just need to understand and talk about these four points.
Talk about your motivation. What motivated you to go on a journey. Tell them about how you were when you started, whether you were an absolute idiot or a loser. This is because normal people don't connect with successful and the ultra rich. They don't want to hear you brag. They want to hear stories that they can relate to because they actually understand!
Share with them your fear. It's all about connecting. Everyone has fears and if you make yourself out to be a fearless businessman who succeeds at anything they do, they can't relate and they might even brush your efforts off as luck.
Proudly share your fear, whether you're afraid of speaking, failure, losing money or what other people think of you. More often than not, your audience will relate and they will want to find out more. When you share your weakness, people see you as an expert because they're amazed that you managed to overcome it and if they wish to do the same, they know to look to you for advice.
Sometimes, the truth can be ugly, and not enough people pick a stand. There's no polarity if you just sit on the fence, but the fence may not be the truth. Sit on the fence and nobody will know of you, because you fit in. Pick a side and preach your truth and you will gain both haters and loyal fans, but it's better than having no one at all that supports you.
Be confident enough to pick a stand, and people will trust you.
The thing about objection is that you shouldn't make the assumption that you know what are people's objections. It's better to ask your target audience and then make content with regards to how you can dispel their objections.
And this is how you make content to attract your target audience. Note how all these types of content are centred around your target audience. No one really wants to read content that doesn't relate to them and these four are all about relating to them. Try it today.

Your Community Needs A Messenger
Every business should aim to have their own community - a community of their own raving fans that loves the brand and share information with each other. I stand by the statement that every community needs a messenger because a community without a messenger would lack the drive to propel forward to make any movement in any direction. Soon, the community would remain but the people inside would shut off and cease communication. This isn't what a real community should be.
There are three different types of messengers. Read on to find out which type are you!
A Leader
A leader leads. This is someone who knows clearly about what the community stands for and acts as the absolute example. Many communities have leaders - religious groups, companies and even sports games. Their leadership is defined by their drive and motivation. They seek to always do the appropriate thing and represents the community.
A Crusader
A crusader is someone who shares. This is someone who tells people their personal experience and with that, they show the way to the light or solve their problem. They try different methods and see what works, regardless of whether they fail or pass, before they share their experience.
For those who feel they belong in this group, but don't really try things out because of time limitation or have the luxury of money, you actually do belong in this group but in a subclass - The Reporter/Witness.
You still share, but you study others and then spread the value.
A Reluctant Hero
This is someone who is shy and doesn't like to be in the spotlight, but they understand that they need to share their message, their knowledge and their value to the world and so they respond to that bigger calling.
Every community needs a messenger. Which type of messenger are you?

How to Motivate Your Community To Take Action
As a community, everyone might believe in something but if there's no motivation for everyone to start making a collective effort toward the shared desire that all of you have then your community is not making use of its greatest asset - your voice.
