Have you ever wanted your monsters to be awesome? Do you feel that your bugbears need a little pizzaz to spice things up? What about your Duergar? Are they just boring and bland? Well now you can learn from the masters how to make them amazing! Before you know it your Duergar will have fire beards that shoot spikes! Ok….that might be a bit too far, but you get the idea. In this tutorial the guys also talk a bit about building a new class from scratch and why it’s usually a bad idea. Just keep it between the lines and everything will be alright!

In the latest escapades of the Grumpy Dungeon Masters the guys get into deep water and talk a whole lot about nostalgia. Not there own nostalgia, but about how it can taint the waters of things that are good. It’s important to be the good fan….and that’s coming from a couple of really grumpy guys who hate most things. The discussions continue onto their own campaigns, how to beat PC’s who can fly, and why DM’s shouldn’t roll death saves.

The day has finally come! GDM Christopher swears off DnD forever. Good thing he had a tub of peach cobbler ice cream to help bring him back into the fold. After he decides to stick around the guys talk about Fizban’s Treasury of Dragons and if the book will be useful. The fellas also talk about their campaigns going awry, awful rolls, and GDM Jay finally finds the hill he is willing to die on…..which surprisingly involves owl people.

Welcome back everybody! Do you know what happens to your clothing when a lycanthrope transforms? Neither do the GDM guys. This leads to discussions about what actually happens with items when druids shapeshift. My money is on they are temporarily held for ransom by a lightning fast goblin, but what do I know? The guys also talk about natural disasters, the beginning of GDM Christopher’s Fey campaign, and Eve online. Who knows how they go from Fey to Eve online. Guess you’ll have to listen to find out!

Hey guys, GDM Jay here. I didn’t want Craig to write this one up since it was an interview to replace him. Unfortunately, we didn’t manage to replace him, but we did hire an incredible chef in the process. The interview was so incredibly enlightening about Orc culture that we decided to share it with the listeners. So sit back and get ready to learn all about Hobbit Belly Stew and War Parties, which apparently don’t have glow sticks and trance music involved with them.

Be sure to check out Gronk on his YouTube channel Gronk the Gore-May! You can also find him on Twitter, Facebook, and TikTok. He even has his own Patreon! Quite impressive for an Orc.

We even talked with him for a little bit after the interview and Gronk mentioned that many DMs out there want Gronk to visit their campaigns, but Gronk is only single Orc. So we worked with Gronk and created a D&D 5e character sheet just for him! You can view it HERE or download the PDF of his sheet by clicking his picture to the right or the link HERE.

Also, if you are so inclined, you can get your own copy of the Wizards Along the Coast’s D&D Cookbook here and cook along with Gronk!

GDM Christopher here! We are also super excited to announce that this is our one-year anniversary of the Grumpy Dungeon Masters! We assembled an amazing GDM Gift package that you can get to show your grumpy DM side. Be sure to pick one up in our store now while supplies last.

We also wanted to invite you to a special new full length campaign that is streaming every Saturday at 8pm EST on Twitch. This is the start of a new campaign, completely written by GDM Christopher. We hope you come and enjoy this fantastic new campaign along with us.

Welcome back to the Grumpy Dungeon Masters. In this latest journey GDM Christopher finally gets to run the introduction to his upcoming Feywild campaign, which begins in an Owlkin village of all places. Needless to say, things go awry. I’m sure it will be quite a hoot though going forward. On the other side of things GDM Jay talks about the Dark Alliance video game and how it compares with the lore from the original novels. Needless to say he’s less than thrilled.

Hiya Folks! Cr’aig here with another fancy tale from the GDM guys. This week GDM Chris discusses his maniacally fiendish trap that he put together for a competition. Here’s hoping he wins and doesn’t test it on me! GDM Jay talks about a mirror that is never fashionably late and about how to protect your library. They also talk about the gravity wizard…..again…for the last time….we hope.

• Also behold! Gravity Fish!

In this special unplanned episode GDM Chris, GDM Jay, and GDM Reverend Panda talk about the info drop from WoTC about their planned books for 2022. This leads them down the rabbit hole into what could be, what should be, and what they would like to see. There might have been a discussion about the licensing of other products WoTC might have access to and if G.I. Joe should be a table top game. Listen in true believers and enjoy!
