It Halloween week and the Grumpy Dungeon Masters are feeling it. GDM Christopher got to run his yearly game of Lets Try to Kill Strahd to much fanfare. GDM Dan got to join him on this adventure and had a great time running through Ravenloft.

As it’s Halloween week the guys take a deep look at the lore of the Vampires throughout D&D history. While Strahd was the first named vampire in D&D he wasn’t the first vampire in D&D. Listen in to find out who the first vampire in D&D was and how Strahd came to be.

GDM Jay got a chance to run his first Shadowdark game and it went exactly as hoped. PC deaths were on the menu and it was a glorious time!

So Dan is working on converting the most insane module of all time (Throne of Bloodstone) from 1st Edition D&D to 5th Edition for his players. He weaves the insane tale that is this module for the other DM’s and you the listeners.

This week it’s just GDM Christopher and GDM Jay taking a bit of a look at the 2024 changes to Dungeons and Dragons. It’s been a busy month and the official release is very soon so the guys will finally have the book in hand. Until then it’s more grumpiness.
They pose the question of is it possible to have to many RPG systems and will it dilute the pool. With D&D 5.5, MCDM, Tales of the Valiant and so many more out there it may be hard to choose which one to play. At least with GDM Jay though we know it’ll be some retro clone.
