We welcome Lloyd 'The Yorkshire Gripper' a Jujitsu Black belt and head coach/ leader of Gripper Jujitsu. Lloyd has trained in BJJ for over 15 years and has won many prestigious competitions professionally. All while running a gym and reaching a high level in his real-life career. We explore his achievements and progression to his jujitsu game now and the styles he prefers. Touching on the importance of mindset and building character in people, using that approach to build a gym that believes in an ethos and works hard to achieve excellence.
He shares his opinion on the growth of jujitsu in the UK and the world and we discuss how to take it to the next level for fans and professionals of the sport. We explore if there is an 'ultimate' marital art and how effective BJJ especially leg locks would be in a real situation.

This episode we take a look at the growing hobby that is Airsoft. As it grows within the UK, bringing along with it a sub culture that make up a huge part of any veteran owned business' customer base. Airsoft has a mixed and somewhat negative reputation among members of the military, mainly based on the 'walting' or people pretending they are something they are not.
This episode we have a chat with 2 former Royal Marines who currently take part in airsoft. Skambo and Smallsy. They give their insight as to why they do it, what airsoft is and the negatives that come with it.
Make sure you head over to their instagrams below and check out their airsoft set ups or just perv on their lovely grids.
As always cheers for listening.
