I reached out to bootnecks, former and serving from a wide range of back grounds and ages. From this I put together a mixture of their voice recordings and read out their stories the best I can to give you the listener the most realistic and honest account of what life is like in the corps.

Glen Steyn is a former Royal Marine commando, SFSG (Special Forces Support Group) Operator, Conservationist, Anti-poaching Consultant and Expedition Leader. 

The lives this man has lead is impossible to fit into one podcast. However we done our best to share with you some highlights. From growing up in a boarding school in the rainbow nation, joining the elite British Royal Marines all the way to walking the longest river in SA (The Orange River) on Exped Orange. During this journey we discuss his motivation behind joining the forces based in the Commonwealth, professional sporting aspirations, expeditions, conservation work, fundraising (Including 24hrs of Burpees!!) and his newest ventures of the Frontier Collective and writing a book.

It took us 25 Episodes but finally we have someone to give us renegades a different view. This week we chat to Former Army Medic, Trainee paramedic and current Army Medic in the Reserves Kelly Bateman. 

A good friend of mine who has a brilliant wealth of experiences despite her junior years. These experiences have put her on a very unique path to becoming a paramedic. 

We discuss school years, choosing the Army, being a female in a predominantly male profession and her recent journey of training to be a Paramedic.

James Hancock is a Troop commander in the Royal Logistic Corps, within the Army Reserves. He also works in the banking sector at a high level, is starting a young family and beginning a journey into his own property business. 

Knowing what he does now makes the discussions in this podcast even more impressive, as we explore how he left Secondary school with less than 2 GCSE's and underwent a huge body transformation from 23 stone!

We chat about the Army reserves as both a private and a junior officer, his time at Sandhurst, balancing work and home life, his weight lose journey and various fitness challenges. 

A real story with a brilliant bloke that really shows that no matter the obstacles and the doubters you can achieve great things despite the cards you are dealt.  

This Week we have the privileged to chat to Keith "Caz" Carroll. A former Royal Marine Commando, Bodyguard, Photographer, graphic designer, personal trainer and all round bloody legend.  

Caz has over 5 years on the Close protection and maritime security circuit with experience and stories from all over the world including getting locked up for espionage in a Nigerian cell and working with high profile clients in London. 

He has a passion and flare for creative work in graphic design, Photography and Film making.

Including all of the above Caz is also a successful fitness, boxing and self defence coach working in London and Brentwood, Essex.

We learn about everything behind his mad stories and even why hes called "Caz" which isn't as obvious as you may think!

Kyle Martin is a Firefighter, EMT, Crossfit Coach, Former Royal Marine Commando, Husband and Father. 

The journey of Kyle Martin is extremely out of the box and varied. Starting being born into a British Army family in Germany, through boarding school, UNI, travelling The United States joining the marines being married in the corps. All the way to starting a family, growing that family, coaching football (soccer) teaching PE to where he is now as a all round absolute legend.
