The GURU is back after a few weeks off. There has been some very hard times, but we are getting through this rough stretch. My Vegas Golden Knights are heading back to the Stanley Cup Finals against the Carolina Hurricanes, after shocking the Colorado Avalanche in four straight. The GURU Is going with the VGK in 7. There has been several people that we had to say goodbye to, but the Saxophone genius, one of the last great jazz musicians of our time has left us. Sonny Rollins was no doubt, one of the last greats that made jazz one of the greatest art forms in music history. He was legendary in every sense of the word. When we take a look back and mention the greats, Coltrane, Miles Davis, Charlie Parker, Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, Dexter Gordon, Sonny Rollins has to be considered in the top tier of greats. WNBA season has begun! The NCAA Men's and Women's tournament will expand to 76 teams? WHY? The NBA and NHL playoffs roll on and by this time next week, no Philadelphia teams will be left...lol. The 152nd running of the Kentucky Derby was historic! Cherie DeVaux was the first woman trainer to win this race. Jose Ortiz was the 9th jockey to win both the Derby and Kentucky Oaks in the same year. History made! What happened to the Boston Celtics? They lost this game from the start of this game with the absence of Jason Tatum. Joe Mazzulla had no clue and the Philadelphia 76ers took advantage of their lack of Celtics superstar, and mix and match lineup. The New York Knicks destroyed the Atlanta Hawks on Thursday night and will face the Sixers in the next round.

My Rookie Of the year in the National League is going to be Konnor Griffin of the Pittsburgh Pirates. This kid has the goods to be great!
Duke choked! The last two college basketball games of the season are here. The UCLA Lady Bruins will play the South Carolina Lady Gamecocks for the woman's crown. From the late 50's to the mid 1970's, Sedaka was one of the top song writers and performers. From Oh Carol, to Breaking up is hard to do, his musical influence made a hugh impact. Sedaka was 86.
