So much is happening in the NFL. The Broncos loose Bo Nix, to a cracked ankle, the Seahawks blow out the 49ers after they sent the Eagles packing. The Bills lose again, what's up with Josh Allen? The talking heads will be all over this story for a long time.
Watch out for the Miami verses Indiana CFP game, yes, it's finally here! The Redhawks from Miami of Ohio. These guys are undefeated and unranked and could be a major player in March. The Australian Open has started, marking the beginning of the tennis season. Thank you for listening and enjoy the rest of your Sports Weekend. Thanks to my man Ron, my jersey guy! He's keeps the GURU in style, appreciate you! We will be back next week with Episode 303.

When things happen outside the sports world, we have to say something. The tragedy of what happened in Minneapolis Minnesota on Wednesday was UNJUSTIFIED MURDER. You can NOT tell me that it wasn't what the whole world eyewitnesses. The GURU talks sports, but when something outrageous and vital happens, then he has something to say. Now that the NFL Playoffs has begun, the GURU has the breakdown on the four remaining games for the Wild Card round. Indiana Hoosiers and the Miami Hurricanes will play for the College Football Championship on the 19th. Indiana should win it all. Thank you for listening and enjoy the rest of your Sports Weekend. We will be back next week with Episode 302.

The GURU takes one final look at 2025 on the first episode of 2026. The 300th episode in the sixth year of this podcast existence, is a true accomplishment. We will be back next week with Episode 301.

This year has been very special, difficult, weird, unique and different. The GURU takes a look at some of the people we lost this year. It's always hard when we loose people, but some people played an important part of our lives, in all aspects. The GURU usually is sports oriented, but some from the entertainment, social, and all walks of life made an impact this year. We also did great in the NFL Confidence picks as well, going 10-3 last weekend. Thanks for listening and enjoy the rest of your Sports Weekend. We will be back next week with Episode 300! The milestone episode!

The GURU has a heavy-heart with the announcement of the end of the road for the CBS / Infinity sports network. For the past thirteen years, we have been entertained by a long host of great people that made this network what it is today. At the end of the month, the microphone will be silent, and the Infinity signs will be taken down and be replaced with a new company. Most of the host will not be apart of the new regime, but we cannot forget the people that made this network a vital part of our lives. I'm sad, upset, frustrated, pissed, and really fucked up over this. I will never forget or turn my back on everyone at this network. This is a tragedy and like having a DEATH IN THE FAMILY. GOD BLESS CBS / INFINITY. There are two people that we had to say goodbye to this week. Singer Carl Carlton and Actor, Director, Producer, and political activist Rob Reiner. Thank you for listening, and enjoy the rest of your Sports Weekend. We will be back next week with Episode 299.

The GURU isn't happy in this episode. The situation with former Michigan Head Coach Sherrone Moore is a tragedy. It's no laughing matter when someone has a mental health issue. No jokes can be mentioned in this situation. The University had a problem that they should have taken care of a while ago, but this situation came down to this. As a Buckeye, we are NOT LAUGHING AND JOKING! I stand behind our rival, and hope they can rebound from this tragic situation. The GURU is happy with the results of the NAVY- ARMY game. A one-point victory is great, even though I wanted to turn off the game when the NAVY was loosing. The CFP field is set. The Buckeyes are the 2 seed. Fernando Mendoza won the Heisman Trophy, and his speech was one that could be the greatest ever. Phillip Rivers is playing again? Plus confidence picks for Week 15 in the NFL. Thank you for listening, we will be back next week with Episode 298.

Congratulations to the Indiana Hoosiers, the champs of the Big 10. It's no joke, for the first time in over 50 years, they beat the Ohio State Buckeyes, 13-10. The rise of the Hoosiers is just remarkable. Goodbye Alabama, BYU, and Duke. At least Duke can call themselves a champion without going to the playoffs, with five losses, make it make sense! FIRE MIKE TOMLIN? What the hell is Pittsburgh thinking? We have to say goodbye to Elden Campbell, a great Laker, who left us this week. Thank you for listening and enjoy the rest of your Sports Weekend. We will be back next week with Episode 297.

FINALLY, FINALLY, FINALLY!!!
The 2191 day nightmare for the Ohio State Buckeyes is OVER! Ohio State beat Michigan for the first time since 2019. There will not be a big celebration for this win. The work is just being for the Buckeyes, as they prepare for the Indiana Hoosiers, in the Big 10 Championship game next week. Lane Kiffin is heading to LSU. This is really messed up for the Ole Miss Rebels. After leading them to their best record in the school's history. We had to say goodbye to Jimmy Cliff, Viola Fletcher, and Fuzzy Zoeller. Thank you for listening and enjoy the rest of your Sports Weekend. We will be back next week with Episode 296. Good night #39.

With the Thanksgiving holiday approaching, the GURU is joining with Ms.GURU for a very special public service announcement. She's very excited about the Black Friday shopping day coming up this week and she wanted to express her excitement...lol. I don't want to hear anything about the schedule of Ohio State! The Big 10 plays their non-conference schedule at the beginning. No cupcake at the end, like the SEC. IT'S BS! Ohio State earned their wins,at least they played the teams in their conference. Hannah Hidalgo did it again! Just ask the USC Trojans. Also some other good things for your listening pleasure. Thanks for listening and enjoy the rest of your Sports Weekend. We will be back next week with Episode 295.

Baseball awards, Hannah Hidalgo, a public service announcement, confidence picks and remembering three sports legends are all included in this week's episode. Thank you for listening and enjoy the rest of your Sports Weekend. The GURU will be back next week with EPISODE 294.
