While watching the Olympics to keep track of the three Milwaukee Bucks players taking part in the games, Ti Windisch, Rohan Katti, and Adam McGee couldn't help but notice the flaws within the team construction of the USA team that lost its first group play match against France on Sunday morning. The Milwaukee Bucks took over downtown Milwaukee on Thursday, and hundreds of thousands of Bucks fans were elated to converge downtown to celebrate the franchise's first championship in 50 years with the team. Rohan Katti and Ti Windisch of the Gyro Step podcast were among the huge crowd, and they met for the first time at the championship celebration in the Deer District afterward to record an on-site podcast right in front of the Bucks championship banner on Fiserv Forum.

THE MILWAUKEE BUCKS ARE NBA CHAMPIONS. Giannis Antetokounmpo had himself up another historic night to cap off his incredible postseason, putting himself on a GOAT trajectory, and after 50 years of coming up short the Milwaukee Bucks are the best team in the league. Ti Windisch, Rohan Katti, Jordan Treske, and Adam McGee all sat down right after the game to expound on what this means for the players -- Giannis, Khris Middleton, Jrue Holiday, Brook Lopez, PJ Tucker, Pat Connaughton, and Bobby Portis -- and coaches involved, and to them as well. This is probably the most emotional podcast any of us have recorded, and for good reason. Giannis and Khris went from worst in the league to NBA champions! We made it!!

Jrue Holiday shined especially bright, and his lob to Giannis Antetokounmpo to essentially seal the Milwaukee Bucks victory to take a 3-2 series lead in the NBA Finals on the road was the moment of the night, but the story of the Game 5 win against the Phoenix Suns features nearly everybody who played, and the coach who led them. It was an incredible night for the Bucks, who yet again found a way to win even with chips stacked against them.
