Recorded June 1st, 2017. Ladies and Gentlemen, the dumbest thing you've ever heard. After the epic Tonight Show pass-off debacle of 2010, Team Coco packed up and moved to TBS, where he has remained to this very day. But did you know, his each episode used to have its very own title? Conan O'Brien super-fan and Houston improv titan Brendon Duran invites us over to LITERALLY READ A LIST OF ALMOST 600 WACKY GAG TITLES, and pick out our favorites. That's it. That's the whole show. Enjoy. Somehow, Hail Satire! is produced and hosted by Vic Shuttee.

MAY 17, 2017 - It's THE DAILY SHOW WEEKLY PODCAST, a rewatch hosted by Vic Shuttee (@VicShuttee) and Chandler Dean (@chandlerjdean)! Amid investigation for collusion with Russia, Donald Trump has fired FBI director James Comey - the man investigating him! The fallout has been swift, and the impeachment bells are ringing. Woof. In Daily Show News, Stephen Colbert hosted an mini-reunion of the gang on the Late Show: Samantha Bee, Ed Helms, Rob Corrdry, John Oliver and old Jonny Stew himself. In hindsight, the TDS years were all gravy. But back in '99, it is a bit of a different story. After 100 episodes of Jon Stewart, even if the hits are light, we're heading in the right direction. Vance Degeneres disappears in "The Blair Project Project," Russia gets a new (supposedly temporary) dictator in Vladimir Putin, and Steve Carell goes sea monster hunting in Lake Champlain. Bebe Neuwirth, Garry Marshall, Denis Leary, Jeffrey Tambor, Dave Foley, Dom Irrera, Pierce Brosnan, Ed Sanchez & Dan Myrick, and the flood gates open as Jon welcomes back his very first two-time guest. Who could it be??? MAY 7, 2017 - It's THE DAILY SHOW WEEKLY PODCAST, a rewatch hosted by Vic Shuttee (@VicShuttee) and Chandler Dean (@chandlerjdean)! The Empire Strikes Back, a Republican Healthcare option has passed in the House and boy, did all that premature celebrations seem ill-advised. Plus, down goes Le Pen! In '99, the fortnight was certainly hot and flakey. Steve Carell finds a few turtles with personality, Paul Michael Mercurio knocks the Patient's Bill of Rights down a few pegs and an iconic Daily Show face is finally given a name during the show's Third Year Anniversary Employee of the Year Celebration. Christa Miller, David Brenner, Joely Fisher, Donny Osmond, Wendie Malick, Vince Neil, and Janeane Garafalo guest while the question is asked, who made NOT Mike Huckabee? MAY 3, 2017 - It's THE DAILY SHOW WEEKLY PODCAST, a rewatch hosted by Vic Shuttee (@VicShuttee) and Chandler Dean (@chandlerjdean)! 2017 is quiet, but TDS history is all around! Hasan Manaj hosts a Trump-less White House Correspondent's Dinner, Vic gets the opportunity to interview the Jon Stewart of Egypt Bassem Youssef and Chandler shares his tale at the taping of Samantha Bee's NOT the White House Correspondent's Dinner. Back in 1999, TDS history is made. Colbert journeys down south for a KKK bash, Steve Carell furrows his brows in anguish, Frank DeCaro opens up. Plus Jonny Stew finally meets his match: comedy legend and feminist icon Miss Piggy! Margaret Cho, Scott Wolf, Roseanne Barr, Rob Schneider, Adam Arkin, John Leguizamo, and Robert Klein guest, the legend of Mr. Peanut, delightful fop, is born. APRIL 23, 2017 - It's THE DAILY SHOW WEEKLY PODCAST, a rewatch hosted by Vic Shuttee (@VicShuttee) and Chandler Dean (@chandlerjdean)! It was a day that no one, not Stewart or Colbert or even fake-Colbert, could have predicted but... DOWN GOES BILL O'REILLY. From Super Bowl interview to being tossed on the cable street corner, the number #1 man in news is officially yesterday's after a long mounting series of allegations over sexual harassment comes to light, and the pundit joining an unpopular (and shockingly growing) list of names including Cosby, Ailes and President Trump. Back in '99, things are just stupid by comparison. There's the low-light that is Austin Powers week, where paid product placement is taken to a new level, as well as a bonkers strange glimpse at the Italian Daily Show. But there's also historic moments for George W. Bush and Al Gore, as well as the iconic return of Stephen Colbert (and a very iconic pose). Mike Myers, Rob Lowe, Heather Graham, Felicity Huffman, Adam Sandler, Richard Belzer guest, and Jon gets his first glimpse of a coveted Emmy Statue's butt. APRIL 9, 2017 - It's THE DAILY SHOW WEEKLY PODCAST, a rewatch hosted by Vic Shuttee (@VicShuttee) and Chandler Dean (@chandlerjdean)! It was the Thursday cultural roller-coaster that's become oh-so common in the age of Trump but man – but in the AM, Judge Gorsuch is confirmed after a GOP dismantles the Senate Filibuster rule, at lunch comedy legend Don Rickles kicks the bucket at age 90 and by nightfall, Trump is bombing ISIS forces in Syria and warning Russian agencies before asking Congress. Holy shit! By comparison, June '99 is a cakewalk. It's a fortnight of inspired segments and historical firsts (The birth of the Arby's joke, amazingly, is NOT the biggest one!) Plus, Mo Rocca stokes a war between Garfield the cat the American Polka community, Natalie Portman aces Jon's sneaky high school finals quiz and the first 17 weeks of Jon Stewart's Daily Show are given the cliff-hanging season finale treatment they've always deserved. Patricia Richardson, Suzanne Somers, Jamie Foxx, Harry Connick Jr, Caroline Rhea, Damon Wayans, Timothy Hutton also guest, and ding-dong – Jon receives a special delivery from a pool boy in some very short shorts. APRIL 2, 2017 - It's THE DAILY SHOW WEEKLY PODCAST, a rewatch hosted by Vic Shuttee (@VicShuttee) and Chandler Dean (@chandlerjdean)! With the Nuclear Option on the table and a Dem filibuster not guaranteed, it looks like we're about to wake up in bed with a Supreme Court Justice Gorsuch. Merritt Garland sheds a tear. But still, the Flynn immunity hot potato continues to bounce, Devin Nunes gets nothing but bad news and Ted Cruz gets a little bit of Texas competition. Back in May '99, we might have entered a bold new dawn. For the age of Lobsterman is upon us, as Beth Littleford delivers a field piece for the ages. Plus, Mo Rocca gets Friendly with some good folk, Jon announces the debut of his starring role in self-produced series "Masterbate Theatre" and Sparky the Florida Electric Chair warms you heart. Thomas Gibson, Paula Cale, Ted Danson, Esai Morales, Jane Seymour, Robert Schimmel, and Ray Romano guest, as big and brassy Camryn Manheim just about rips Jonny Stew's neck off in a fit of passion.
