They've also produced a number of other things like their PNOScan system that allows any acoustic piano to record MIDI files, as well as QRS Connect that allows a pianist to play a piano remotely. Most recently they've begun branching out into players for other types of instruments, such as a newly-released trumpet player system. As always, please stay tuned for more from Hamilton Piano Company! On this Episode the folks at Hamilton Piano Company are here to officially retract some of the opinions stated in the first couple episodes of this podcast! After having experienced some of the latest models of digital pianos that Roland has to offer - including their wide variety of features and conveniences, as well as their dedication to replicating the feeling and experience of playing an acoustic piano as closely as possible - we realized that maybe there is, in fact, a market for these kinds of instruments for a reason! So we decided to do both ourselves and our customers a favor and enter the digital piano space by becoming a Roland dealer as well! The guys talk about Roland and their experiences with it and how they came to do a full 180 on their opinions, while also touching on subjects like the origins and history of Roland as a company. Also dogs for some reason. Kind of.

Brandon - Tobias' son - is the fourth generation of Hamilton in the piano business, as well as a musician in his own right.
Kevin is Brandon's friend as well as one of HPC's many employees.
Both of them have studied, practiced, and performed music throughout their school years, and today we have them on the podcast to get their perspective as the next generation of musical performers; in the end the two of them perform a rendition of Misty by Erroll Garner for us as a piano-saxophone duo!
