Hanging w/ The D

2020 was definitely whack for any number of reasons but one thing that kicked off 2020 and made it not suck was getting to do this with a brother and getting to meet my hero.  We started with Clerks and finished with a viewing of Jay & Silent Bob Reboot!!!  With the man himself, Kevin Smith!!  There was the Q&A and the meet and greet after the film.

David & I continue our trip to the #RebootRoadshow and we move onto Mallrats.  The 2nd film in the universe that was kicked off by Clerks.

As this episode drops, know that we are in route to the Fargo stop on the #RebootRoadshow.  Stay tuned and we hope you enjoy the ride!!!

David and I kickoff our road to the #RebootRoadshow with Clerks.  The film that kicked off a universe that I have grown with and absolutely love from start to finish.

As this episode drops, we will be leaving town, as we embark up our road trip to the Fargo stop of the #RebootRoadshow.... stay tuned and we hope you enjoy the ride!!!

Today I am joined by someone I now call brother.  He is the one & only JD!! He has his own rad podcast The Functionally Dysfunctional Show & he is the same JD from A Health & Fitness Journey w/ JD & The D!!

We get to geek and gush a bit about something that started back in the 80's and quite frankly is the very best of its kind... a sequel to a film series that started many years ago.  Others have tried, one approach or another, but they have all failed.

Cobra Kai!!!

It's been a hot minute since the Good Brother and I were able to sit down & what better time than now with all the crazy shit going on with HBOMax!?

The highly anticipated, much talked about & quite frankly, AMAZING film..... Joker.  Say what you will & I will say what I will... Joker was incredible.  Agree or disagree, keep it peaceful.

The "Must See" film of 2019 from one of the best in the business, Quentin Tarantino.  The cast alone is MUST SEE & what can I say about this film that every film goer hasn't already said to some capacity or another....?

Joined, by one of the best damn podcasts out there & by 3 of the coolest motherf*ckers around! Trav had never seen the MCU in its entirety until most recently....where Zach & Harv may have "influenced" his decisions a bit & "encouraged" him to watch them.

Zach, who I first met on some Wrestling discussions on Twitter a few years back, came to me with this grand idea about Trav watching the MCU from start to finish & that we (along with Harv) should bang out a gem of an episode.  To which I immediately loved the idea of doing this!

So here we are, a mere couple of months after Trav ripped thru the MCU, we have a plethora of topics to discuss & a banger of an episode here for ya listening pleasure!!

You can find Zach & Trav every Thursday on their podcast Mostly Sober Podcast (Mostly Sober Links), where they are every day guys talking about every day things you should listen to every day!  Make sure to stop by their partners Gamer Advantage & Manscaped and use their respective coupon code (MOSTLYSOBER) to save on your purchases!!

John Carpenter, the man who gave us fans so many classics, brought the slasher genre into the mainstream with this timeless classic that has aged incredibly well.  All these years later it is still incredibly rewatchable and just as fantastic as it was the first time I watched it all those years ago.
