  • Ally Fallon - Is This The Life That You Really Want?
Is this the life that I really want? That's the question our guest, Ally Fallon, asked herself when she realized that the life she was living wasn't the life that she wanted. For Ally, and like so many others, she thought that if she followed the rules, did as she was told, and followed the "plan", she would find the life she hoped for. But, before she knew it, she was stuck in an abusive relationship while feeling more stuck, lost and confused than ever before. In this podcast, we lean into that time period of her life where she found herself not only asking that question, but also walking away from the only life she had ever known so that should could do the work to begin to create the life she dreamed of. • The Questions That Have Defined Our Lives
We are SO excited to release this episode as the first episode on our new podcast! The truth is, we're all looking for answers in life. And, I think we can all agree that there is no shortage of people out there giving us the answers. Well, maybe we should say the answer that worked best for them. But, as you might know, life isn't as black and white as we sometimes wish it would be. What worked for me, might not work for you. And, that's why we believe that while we are all looking for answers, we need to start learning how to ask the right questions, while also learning how to position our hearts to live out those questions, now.Rainer Maria Rilke said, "Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves, like locked rooms and like books that are now written in a very foreign tongue. Do not seek the answers, which cannot be given to you because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything. Life the questions now. And perhaps you will gradually, without noticing it, live along some distant day into the answer."And, on the first episode of Kara and Caleb, both give us a detailed account of what it looked like to give up the need for answers in their lives, live in the questions, and as a result live into the answer they've always been looking for.If you want to know more about Kara, you can do that here.If you want to know more about Caleb, you can do that here.Follow Kara on Instagram, here.Follow Caleb on Instagram, here.
