So this week I experienced a bit of a feeling of overwhelm. My mind had so much information in it combined with enormous drive to work more than the threat of burn out bean to loom. Now, I know better than this and have great habits to ensure this doesn't happen to often, but sometimes I don't follow my own advice and get carried away in the wonderful zone of loving my career and forget about balance. In this episode I share my recent experience of suddenly heading towards burn out and how I stumbled on a way to snap right out of it. Enjoy and let me know if it resonated :)
Today I answer a reader's question - today I posted the quote you have one life, live it' on my Instagram feed and I got the most brilliant question from a reader. (I absolutely love it when people question the how behind my mindset, so I understand how I can offer more help).
So the readers question was:
'What is your motivation everyday to keep at it? I am lacking in that department unless I have an art show or display to prepare for'
I have used this episode to answer this question and I think it will be a question a lot of people have.
My answer may be quite different to what you might expect, too.
I talk about my beliefs around doing what you love, the big picture, the journey and the biggest things that trips us up.
Listen in to here more :)

Thrive Summit by Caspar + Nichola Craven

In this episode I talk about what can only seem like a mini miracle that took place on Christmas Eve last year. It's the event that led to me having literally no chronic pain for the whole of January.
I also read excerpts from The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle that help me to explain the state of being I have been experimenting with living by these last few months.
What I didn't expect was the huge correlation between what happened on Christmas Eve and what I read a month later in this book.
Enjoy!
In this episode I share how I have come to rely only on myself for my source of happiness and how that has been a critical step in my quest to uncover 'happy hacks'
I talk about how I have changed my expectations for how we spend our weekends as a family...
...and how regularly checking in with myself for remnants of unease and spending time working through situations in a forgiveness journal keeps me vibin' high and feeling at content.
In this episode I talk about creating a new kind of list that is seriously boosting my happiness.
I share a new hack I am enjoying that is energising me and clearing the brain fog and even a thunderous headache!
A new daily moment I am enjoying that's a huge happiness hack. Enjoy!
In this episode I talk about how I changed almost every habit in my life last year, and there was no effort involved!
In this episode I talk about why I've been quiet online around the subject of New Years resolutions, goals etc.
I share what I intend for this year - no list of goals, simply to have a focus.
...And then I realise as I'm recording the podcast what I'm setting is essentially a goal. Ha!
Listen in to hear about why my non-goal is sort of a goal but really isn't a goal, my thoughts on setting visions and why none of it matters anyway.
