  • Bonus Episode: Killer Kars (Patreon Clip)
This is a clip from our latest bonus episode! The full ep, along with all our monthly bonus episodes, is available to patrons at Patreon.com/HappyHorrorTime

If the two films within this month’s winning theme don’t fuel your love of full-speed horror, we aren’t sure what gets you in gear! More car puns, perhaps? 🚗

“Christine” is based on one of Stephen King’s classic novels, in which a very alive car possesses its new teenage owner, Arnie. With John Carpenter as Director, you can safely assume this film has A) Tons of suspense and B) An awesome score. “Death Proof,” originally part of the “Grindhouse” double feature, stands on its own with a chilling performance by Kurt Russell as Stuntman Mike — a psycho who terrorizes women with his stunt car… until he meets some no-nonsense stuntwomen who can outdrive him.

Tune in to hear us break down these two horror-mobile flicks, guaranteed to rev up your adrenaline-loving hearts!

  • Ep 167: A 2023 ‘90s Thriller
What do “Scream,” “I Know What You Did Last Summer,” and “The Faculty” have in common? They’re all ‘90s thrillers that had a major influence on Netflix’s new Spanish slasher film, “Killer Book Club.” Tune in to hear us break down all the callbacks to these ‘90s flicks, all the chase scenes, that killer reveal, and the new word we learned in this movie — coulrophobia. 🤡 Plus, a few comments after last week's Kevin Williamson interview!

  • Ep 166: Interview w/Kevin Williamson, Writer of “Scream,” “IKWYDLS,” “The Faculty,” and so many more
After writing the 1996 mega-hit, “Scream,” Kevin Williamson became the go-to horror screenwriter — composing scripts for films like “I Know What You Did Last Summer,” “Halloween H20,” “The Faculty,” “Teaching Mrs. Tingle,” and even this year’s pandemic slasher, “Sick.” Tune in to hear stories about writing so many of our favorite horror films, like which “Scream 2” scene was originally meant for “IKWYDLS,” what real-life experience inspired “Teaching Mrs. Tingle,” why he didn’t receive an official writing credit on “Halloween H20,” and his intended stories for “Scream 5” & “Scream 6.”

  • Bonus Episode: Hellish Hospitals (Patreon Clip)
This is a clip from our latest bonus episode! The full ep, along with all our monthly bonus episodes, is available to patrons at Patreon.com/HappyHorrorTime

Why are hospitals always so dark and vacant in scary movies? Well two of the biggest horror franchises sure used this to their advantage in the films within this month’s winning theme.

“Halloween II” (1981) is a continuation of John Carpenter’s horror classic, with Laurie Strode being rushed to Haddonfield Memorial Hospital. Unfortunately, Michael Myers is still up for some trick-or-treating (and by “trick-or-treating,” we mean killing off unsuspecting doctors and nurses). “A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors” brings Nancy Thompson back as an intern at Westin Hills Psychiatric Hospital, where the last remaining Elm Street kids are dropping like flies at the hands of Freddy Krueger. Code blue!

Tune in as we break down these impressive horror sequels and their creepy-ass hospital settings. 🏥

  • Ep 164: We're Gonna Need a Bigger Shark
Shark flicks have been popular since the release of “Jaws,” but the Meg series sure knows how to take these movies to the next level… or actually, the next 10 levels! Tune in to hear us break down all the prehistoric creatures and over-the-top action sequences in “Meg 2: The Trench,” while answering the age-old question — is bigger always better?
