Tropical sharks? A naïve hottie living off the grid? Is there anything Alicia Silverstone can’t handle? This week we discuss two new thrillers starring our favorite “Clueless” star. In “The Requin,” Alicia battles a tropical storm, ravenous sharks, and a ton of CGI. “Last Survivors” is a twist on a post-apocalyptic film, placing Alicia opposite the most groomed wilderness man we’ve ever seen.

What is horror in 2022 without thrillers about a virtual assistance app and toxic masculinity? “See for Me” made us happy not to be rich enough to possess anything worthy of a safe. While “Red Snow” had a “Misery + Vampires” feel to it, with a cute bloodsucker wearing outfits Annie Wilkes would be proud of.

Tune in to hear all about filming this sequel, the challenges of capturing everything for 3D, and the incredible story behind how he was discovered and handpicked for this role.

Kristen Cloke battled two sadistic killers with an eyeball fetish in “Black Christmas” (2006), but fell prey to a lethal combination of vodka, a computer, and a knife block in “Final Destination.” Tune in to hear all about making these enduring thrillers, what the studio changed in “Black Christmas,” and how her extensive “Final Destination” death scene was filmed.
