The 134 PAC, an organized group of progressives and Democrats from the vast expanse of rural, Republican-dominated Texas, has a plan to convert those folks into the unified, activated voting bloc that they should be through unity with their urban compatriots and mobilization of a proper, statewide resistance to MAGA rule in Texas.

Both Progress Texas Podcasting Director Chris Mosser and Advocacy Manager Reagan Stone will be participating in the 134 PAC's upcoming Rural Texas Summit in Bastrop, where a terrific lineup of speakers and panels will address the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead in our continued push to turn Texas blue. We're joined for a preview by Carla Schoonover Porter and Steve Bridges of the organization, and our good friend Nancy Thompson of Mothers Against Greg Abbott, who will participate on Saturday.
