  • Me_For_Her- HER SURVIVOR STORY FROM CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE

    Me_for_her- HER SURVIVOR STORY

MEGHANNA HECKMAN....yes i will say her name LOUD & PROUD

Check out this Episode of her survivor story from child sexual abuse at 7, 12 and 17.

    ⛔HARD FACT⛔

🚫On average, there are 433,648 victims (age 12 or older) of rape and sexual assault each year in the United States.

🚫1 out of every 6 American women has been the victim of an attempted or completed rape in her lifetime (14.8% completed, 2.8% attempted). 1 out of every 10 rape victims are male.

🚫Child sexual abuse, also called child molestation, is a form of child abuse in which an adult or older adolescent uses a child for sexual stimulation.[1][2] Forms of child sexual abuse include engaging in sexual activities with a child (whether by asking or pressuring, or by other means), indecent exposure (of the genitals, female nipples, etc.), child grooming, and child sexual exploitation, including using a child to produce child pornography.

🚫Child sexual abuse can occur in a variety of settings, including home, school, or work (in places where child labor is common). Child marriage is one of the main forms of child sexual abuse; UNICEF has stated that child marriage "represents perhaps the most prevalent form of sexual abuse and exploitation of girls".

  • Speaker Jermaine- 9 Insights For Single Moms Raising Sons

Today is his Speaker Jermaine Birthday - Happy Birthday

Speaker Jermaine Book on 9 Insights For Single Moms Raising Sons, he is Motivational speaker 💡#1 Inspirational Speaker, 📘 Author and 👁 Intuitive Healer

24 million U.S. children younger than 18 are living with an unmarried parent. Most (15 million) are living with a solo mother. — 2018 Census

Here are some tips on raising boys as a single mother

    1. Trust Yourself and Trust Him

The pressure of raising a boy into a man can be overwhelming, especially in light of all the external pressures and messages they receive from society. Trusting your motherly instinct and allowing him to make his own decisions — within reason if he is a minor — can go a long way in establishing a healthy mother-son relationship. Young men need the space to explore the world on their own, allow them to do so while being a beacon of light should they ever get lost.

    2. No “Tough Love”

Don’t be afraid to let him into your world. Don’t make the mistake of being “too tough” to allow him to see your vulnerability. When you allow him to feel your “humanness” you are indirectly developing his ability to be compassionate and empathetic — both qualities that will be critical in his developing future relationships. Boys who are exposed to healthy emotion and vulnerability will not grow up to be afraid of them in their adult lives.

    3. Ask Questions and Keep Asking Them!

I get it, teenagers are going to be annoyed by a lot of questions, but ask them anyway. As much as teens want their privacy, it makes them feel connected and cared for if you take the time to ask. Learn how to push through the initial barrier of indifference and you’ll find a sensitive, thoughtful and curious young man.

    4. Don’t Badmouth His Father

This one is important. The age-old adage applies “If you have nothing nice to say, don’t say anything at all.” Unfortunately, relationships don’t always work out and parents need to separate creating the need to co-parent your child. So, in this case, why is it important not to badmouth his father? You want to allow your son to form his own opinion. The last thing you want is for your son to look at you as the reason his father is not present in his life. Or take the blame for his father’s absence himself — either of which can happen if negativity prevails. That said, honesty is always the best policy, if he asks, tell him the truth.

    5. Establish Respect

It is important to create an open, trusting relationship with your son, however, respect should be implicitly and explicitly cultivated and demonstrated. For example, respecting his privacy and allowing him to be his own person while establishing your role as the parent, will help establish the proper boundaries that will carry into his adult life.

    Bonus — Let Him Go!

This is hard, I know. He’ll always be your baby. But you have to do yourself and your son a favor and Let. Him. Go! Trust him as a man and allow him to make his own decisions. You don’t want a “Mama’s Boy” and trust me his future wife will thank you for it. =)

  • He gave you WHAT STD ???? STD Life Coach Belize Spivey

In 2019, there were 468,342 new sexually transmitted infection (STI) diagnoses made at sexual health services in England. Of these, the most commonly diagnosed STIs were chlamydia (229,411; 49% of all new STI diagnoses), gonorrhoea (70,936; 15%) and genital warts (51,274; 11%).

Between 2012 and 2019, rates of new diagnoses increased for:

    • chlamydia: a 3.5% increase, from 394 to 408 per 100,000 population
    • gonorrhoea: a 151% increase, from 50 to 126 per 100,000 population
    • syphilis: a 152% increase, from 5.6 to 14.2 per 100,000 population.

Over the same time period, there was a decline in new diagnoses of genital warts (a 36% decrease, from 142 to 91 per 100,000 population), and the rate of genital herpes diagnoses remained constant at 61 per 100,000 population.

Overcoming What Can’t be Cured is Belize Samuel’s seven-year journey to overcoming the stigma of herpes. This book is transparent, inspiring, and full of real situations. The fight of living with herpes is unseen. Many individuals are living in fear and shame because of this incurable STD. This book will display Mrs. Samuel’s emotions, thoughts, and actions to overcome what many individuals dream too. Mrs. Samuel will walk you through her diagnosis, pregnancy, and meeting her husband. Overcoming What Can’t be Cured will display the opportunity to live beyond the herpes stigma. You’re not ALONE~ Belize Samuel

According to STD life coach Belize Spivey, having herpes doesn’t mean you’re destined to live as a spinster. You can continue dating and engaging in sexual activity. Spivey contracted it 11 years ago, and learning to live with it forced her to do a lot of self-reflection when it came to her dating habits. She discovered that she had an unhealthy relationship with sex, using it to cope with low self-esteem and to feel better about herself. Contracting herpes made her revaluate her reasons for sexual activity and do the inner work necessary to move forward. Once she was able to do that, she learned that there was life after herpes. She started her business, Overcoming, in 2015 as a way to support other Black women like herself.

Take advantage of the resources that help dismantle stigmas surrounding it. If your status has impacted your self-esteem, seek therapy to discuss your thoughts about your diagnosis. You can also join a support group such as Overcomers. Most importantly, communicate with potential partners, love yourself, and know that life with herpes doesn’t have to mean a life without love.

  • Letter to my Baby DADDY and HUSBAND

Welcome Back to the Happy Single Mom Podcast

This episode I am being vulnerable and sharing my ability to let go and press forward to things that i want in life.

To my Baby Daddy - I forgive you

To my Husband thank you for loving me

11 Qualities To Look For When Searching For A Godly Man1. Someone who walks with the Lord.

I know that this first one may sound a bit obvious and redundant, but honestly it is very important. Before we get to any of the other characteristics, the first thing that you're going to want to know is if he walks with the Lord and wants to continue to grow in Him. You want a man who is going to put God first. 2 Corinthians 6:14 says, "Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?" Dating someone who isn't a believer can be very hard and painful. As Christian women, we need strong Christian men that we can grow with in our spiritual journeys.

    2. A Leader

As women, we want a man who can lead us. Sure we like to act independent and strong, and while those are good qualities to have, the fact of the matter is, when it comes to a relationship our man is supposed to lead us. Find a man whom you can support and encourage while he leads you and your family spiritually with wisdom and ultimately through life.

    3. A Gentleman

A Godly man is someone who is going to treat you like the jewel you are. He is polite and respectful to everyone that he encounters. A gentleman is someone who is going to respect you and value you how you deserve. He's going to see your worth and cherish it; he won't take it for granted.

    4. Humility

A Godly man is not proud or boastful. Not everyone is perfect, and a Godly man realizes this. He shares his flaws with you so that you will be able to encourage, support, and pray for him. He daily surrenders his pride to the Lord. He doesn't boast about his spiritual knowledge, but instead daily renews his mind and recognizes that he always has more room to grow.

    5. Obeys the Word

James 1:23-24 says, “Be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror. For he looks at himself and goes away and at once forgets what he was like.”

A Godly man is a man of not only his word, but of the Lord's. He does what he says he is going to do, and is true to keeping vows and promises. He will also obey the Word of the Lord, no matter how difficult the task. He delights himself in the Word of the Lord and diligently meditates and rests in it.

    6. Generosity

A Godly man is willing to help others. In Proverbs 19:17, Solomon writes, "Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the LORD, and he will reward them for what they have done." A Godly man has a heart for serving others. He uses his gifts, knowledge, and talent to help fill the needs of others, including his wife and family. He realizes that this life is not his own, so he uses it to please the Lord because when we do this to the least of these, we do it to Jesus.(Matthew 25:40)

    7. A Man of Prayer

One of the most intimate things that you can do with your partner is to pray over them. A Godly man realizes the importance of prayer not only in his life, but in the lives of his family. He knows that this is a direct way to communicate with Jesus and in doing so, he ultimately knows who is in control of his life. He is a prayer warrior for his family.

    8. Takes Action

Ladies, I think that we can all agree when I say that we love to be valued. One way that we're able to receive this feeling is when we have plans made for us. It makes us feel special and thought of when our guy has planned out a special evening for us.

A Godly man is not afraid to take action. Whether it be in what he has planned for you on an afternoon date, in life decisions that will come through marriage, or even in taking steps to do what the Lord has called him to do, he will do the necessary actions in order to achieve the best.

    9. Patient and Graceful

A Godly man is patient, especially in the face of difficult situations. He does not fear the unknown, but is willing to take the time to work through every situation. He won't let an argument run him off, and won't let his emotions get the best of him. He waits upon the Lord, and knows that His plan is greater. He is not ill tempered nor does he speak out of emotion. He brings God's goodness into the lives of the undeserving. He has grace because he has been transformed by God's grace.

    10. Forgiving

A Godly man does not hold grudges and will not seek revenge. He is gracefully forgiving and lets go of all feelings of resentment. He knows that he is undeserving of God's forgiveness, so since he has been forgiven, he will forgive others even when they are undeserving.

    11. Loves with Agape Love

Agape love is the greek word for "love at its ultimate." This is the love that God has for us and it was displayed at the cross. Ephesians 5:1-2 says, "Be imitators…and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God."

A Godly man selflessly loves his wife. He uses every opportunity he can to try to imitate this kind of love. He chooses to love no matter what he is feeling; it doesn't matter if he is frustrated, upset, or having a bad day, he chooses to love you regardless. In his love, he chooses to seek the highest good for you. It is a sacrificial love. God designed relationships to be cantered on His love, and a Godly man realizes this.

These are just a few characteristics of a Godly man. Know that even Godly men are not perfect, but they will constantly surrender to the Lord in order to be the best that they can be for not only themselves, but for you.

Help im going Grey... Why are we so afraid of getting Old.

    LINK IN BIO

Aging is inevitable, but to grow old gracefully is a choice.

While we know that getting old is unavoidable, how we perceive this natural process depends greatly upon our social and cultural influences.

In western culture, we tend to idolize youth, while aging is stigmatized as undesirable, even shameful. We worry about what we will look like, how our bodies will function, how our minds will deteriorate and how or where we will die. In many ways as we get older we FEEL WE become less visible; in popular culture, in employment, in our communities, even in our own families and this can have a greater impact on women than men.

We NEED TO EMBRACE GETTING OLDER AND GOING GREY UPSTAIRS & DOWNSTAIRS 🤣🤣

Mental illness can affect many aspects of life, including intimate relationships. Some individuals may experience hesitancy or fear of disclosure to their partner due to the continued stigma surrounding mental illness. Communication is key to having a healthy, positive relationship despite mental health struggles.

How to Protect your Mental health

    🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻

Try to eat healthy meals, get some exercise, and get enough sleep. Making time to do things you enjoy will help you keep your stress levels in check. You'll be better able to support your loved one if you take steps to maintain your own physical and mental health.

If you still want to remain with your partner there are ways you can help.

    Helpful Tips for Partners

❌ Educate yourself. Learn about the condition together. This helps you gain a better understanding of it and clues you in to how the symptoms manifest in your marriage or partnership.

❌ Practice your communication skills. Speak openly and honestly about your feelings, needs, and concerns. Use “active listening” skills like seeking understanding, asking clarifying questions, and using engaged body language (eye contact, a gentle touch, and interest).

❌Seek professional help. Use whatever resources are relevant to you and within your means. Both couples counseling and individual counseling may be appropriate.

❌Have realistic expectations. You can’t demand that someone change who they are nor expect them to meet all your needs at all times; this is true for all relationships. Equally, you shouldn’t have to violate your boundaries in order to maintain the relationship. Find a way to compromise and grow so both of you feel safe and supported.
