When you were a child, did you ever see a bully pin a sign that said “kick me” to someone’s back? Well, being marked as God’s child can feel a lot like having a “kick me” sign, because it seems like the whole world can be against you at times. But Pastor Jeff wants you to remember that you are in good company, His people have always faced obstacles and tribulation in the pursuit of taking the righteous path. The Lord knows what you are going through, and He is always with you.
One pretty reliable way to tell if you’re doing God’s will or not is to see how the enemy is responding to your actions. Are there obstacles in your way coming seemingly out of nowhere? Pastor Jeff shows you today that Satan is always trying to oppose God’s plans, and when your personal actions line up with God’s will, that means you are in the enemy’s crosshairs. When the road ahead of you is at its toughest, ask the Lord for help to endure. If you’re following His will, He will grant your request.
When you are seeking the Lord’s guidance for something in your life, you can’t just ask once or twice and give up when He doesn’t answer. You have to be persistent and push and knock on the door until He answers you. Daniel understood this, and he knocked and knocked until he heard from the Lord. He doesn’t do this to be a withholding Father, but instead, Pastor Jeff teaches you today that it teaches perseverance, it teaches you to be persistent in doing the things of God, even when it’s hard.
Biblical prophecy can often be difficult to interpret, but Pastor Jeff shows you today how you can look at prophetic portions of Scripture within the context of the modern age. In the case of Daniel chapter 9, you can see how the Antichrist is going to create a false sense of peace in Israel, and how that faulty treaty will lead to Christ’s return and the establishment of a new Heaven and a new Earth. Don’t be afraid, but take this message as a warning that the time of judgment is drawing closer!
In our world, we are constantly being yanked in every direction on what to believe. It comes from so many sources that oftentimes, it’s easy to make certain lies seem okay. Today in his message, Pastor Jeff wants you to know that the only wisdom worth investing in is the Word of God. Anything of this world will only seek to tear you down as it slowly dies away like everything else. Invest in what matters most: everlasting life in the Kingdom of God. Make your hustle matter and experience your true calling.
It’s common to experience dry spells in our walk with Jesus. Whether it’s a difficult season or just time away from who we know we are through Him, Pastor Jeff wants you to know that you can turn it around today. Instead of sitting on the fence and wasting your valuable time on this earth, commit to the cause of Christ and make a powerful difference in His name. The more lukewarm you are, the further from God’s plan you’ll find yourself. Live out the purpose-driven life that God has divinely prepared for you.
Did you know that stubbornness can be a virtue? Obviously, being stubborn in refusing to do the right thing isn’t what we’re talking about here, but Pastor Jeff shows you in today’s message how the prophet Daniel was in constant prayer to the Lord, asking for guidance and for the Jewish people to be restored to their land. The Lord rewarded his persistence by giving speaking to Daniel, and giving him a timeline for the atonement of sin and the return of the Jews to their home.
Imagine that you receive a bar of pure gold as part of an inheritance. Are you going to display that gold on your bookshelf? No, your wisest option would be to find a safe to lock it up and hide it from someone who may try and steal it. Well, Pastor Jeff teaches you that the words you receive from God should receive the same level of care. The enemy will try and steal the hope that you have from God’s promises, and it is up to you to lock those things away and hold them close to your heart.
Alexander the Great was a fearsome leader who conquered much of the known world after Daniel’s time, and yet Alexander’s life panned out just as Daniel had prophesied. Pastor Jeff teaches you today that even the most fearsome human leaders are still human, subject to human vulnerabilities, and without the presence of God in their lives, will eventually fall from grace and have their work scattered to a crowd of successors. Alexander’s kingdom was split because he couldn’t control his behavior.
Just when the Antichrist is at the peak of his power, and all seems lost for God’s people, the Lord Himself will step in and hold judgment for the living and the dead. Jesus will return and crush the Antichrist, as well as the devil himself. Pastor Jeff encourages you in today’s message, because even when things are at their darkest, God is moving behind the scenes to work everything together for His glory. The enemy and his puppets don’t stand a chance against the power of God Almighty.
