Janet Preus' working title is "Lillie's Ghost: The Haunting Story of Killers, Victims and Skewed Justice in Frontier Otter Tail County"!

A highly researched project that goes back into the 1880's and she has found out some very interesting information about 7 murders that went unpunished before the 1887 murder of Lillie Field near St. Olaf.  The question is WHY? 

I got some information from her but she's saving a lot for when the book get's published.

She started these Mira James Murder of the Month Mysteries some time ago but unfortunately this will be the last one..."April Fools".

Jess Lourey has been on this show many time and it was so great to hear her voice again. We get a little hint of what this one is about...I tried to talk her into another one down the line. And who knows..these characters have meant a lot to her in her career, maybe we might see them one more time. 

She's been working on some other projects as well and she'll have a book signing in the near future in Park Rapids and in Grand Forks.

My favorites of this series...."September Mourn", "December Dread", and of course the one I'm feature in as the Police Chief of Glendive Montana, "February Fever" !

April marks National Autism Awareness Month and April 2nd is World Autism Awareness Day. 

Darcy Kasparwitz of the ND Autism Center filled us in on the latest numbers and also opportunities available to those with members of the family on the autism spectrum.

There will be a special appearance by Brady Jandreau at this years PRCA Rodeo at the Fargodome. Brady is from South Dakota and from the award-winning movie “The Rider”.  "The Rider" is a critically acclaimed award winning film  based on the true story of Brady being injured at the Fargo PRCA

Championship Rodeo in 2016 and his inspiring journey to recovery. This film has won numerous awards,

including Best Feature Film at the Gotham Awards and Best Film from the National Society of Film Critics,

as well as the Art Cinema Award at the Cannes Film Festival.

Brady had a chance to talk about the accident, the recovery, and the making of the film. He actually met director Chloe Zhao BEFORE the accident. 

The film has received rave reviews and a very high ranking on Rotten Tomatoes.com

Adam Pankow of the Fargo Moorhead Community Theatre reminds us that this weekend is the annual "Silver Follies" show sporting a 60's theme this year. All members of the cast are over 50 years of age.
