There is a difference between being thankful, and being grateful. Thankfulness is a cordial response to a favor done. Gratefulness can only be developed intentionally. It begins with the spirit. It’s an attitude. Gratefulness means being content with what you have now.

Holy Week is a rollercoaster of emotions, at least for the disciples it was. The last 40 hours or so had been terrifying, confusing, and doubt filled time; nothing was going the way they thought it would. The king they assumed would take power was now laying in a tomb.

Today is know as Palm Sunday, the day that Jesus came to Jerusalem as people lined the street leading from the Mt. of Olives and waved palm branches.

When we hunger for the presence of God, we long to be filled to the full measure with His Holy Spirit.
