This morning as we continue our series called David: Faithful or Failure, we will look at his friendship with jonathon, the son of King Saul, and look for elements that made their relationship a great friendship.

This morning in part 2 of David: Faithful or Failure we are going to look at one of David’s defining moments as he squares off against the champion giant named Goliath.

For the next few weeks we will begin looking at the biblical account of David as we look at the question, David: Faithful or Failure?

It has been a pretty emotional few weeks as we have ventured deep into the wounded heart and pointing out the lies of the enemy that hold us in bondage. We will continue this morning with Part 3 of “When you don’t feel like the person the bible says you are.”

There is a perception out there, whether it is right or wrong, that Christians have life figured out. To a certain degree that is true, we have found our life in Christ and our lives are ordered accordingly to His plan and purpose.

If I were to ask you to describe who you are in Christ, how would you answer that?

Have you ever just stopped and wondered; “what if?” How would your life be different? Who would you be today?Where would you be?

What is a Christians role in supporting the local church?

Last week we talked about how the old system of having to go to the priests to make a sacrifice for the forgiveness of sin was really just a preview of things yet to come, namely the coming of a Messiah in the person of Jesus Christ.
