This week I am discussing the Eastland Disaster in Chicago in 1915. What was meant to be a fun day for Western Electric employee's for their company picnic turned into tragedy when one of the ships they were on capsized in the Chicago River. 844 people were killed in the disaster.

This week Sam takes on her first solo episode to discuss the kidnapping and murder of Polly Klaas. On October 1, 1993 Polly was abducted from her home during a sleepover with two of her friends. Polly's abduction made nationwide news and nearly two months after the suspect in her disappearance had been arrested. Check back next week to hear part two of the Polly Klaas case.

This week Sam tells you about the tragic stabbings on the Apple River in Somerset, Wisconsin. On July 30, 2022 a group of friends were partying while tubing down the Apple River when an incident occured between the group and Nicolae Miu. Isaac Schuman, A.J. Martin, Ryhley Mattison, Dante Carlson, and Tony Carlson would all be stabbed by Miu abd Isaac Schuman would be killed in the alteracation.
