    Hawaii’s first all-mail election has already seen a record-breaking number of voters casting their ballots.
    And it’s not too late to submit yours.
    Last-minute Hawaii voters still have options to cast their ballot before the general election on Tuesday, including options at voter service centers and official ballot drop boxes.
    According to the Office of Elections, all ballots must be received by the Clerk’s Office by 7 p.m. on Election Day. Postmarks do not count.

    Hawaii is reporting 94 new COVID-19 cases on Friday and one additional fatality on the Big Island.
    The official death toll from the virus in the islands now stands at 216.
    The 94 cases included 74 on Oahu, 14 on the Big Island, five in Maui County and one on Kauai.
    The infections bring statewide total for cases since the pandemic began to 15,003. More than 3,000 of those are still “active,” which means they have not been released from isolation.
    The new infections bring the seven-day average for cases in Hawaii to 75. Statewide, the seven-day average positivity rate is 1.8%.

    Hawaii reported two additional COVID-19 fatalities on Thursday and 77 new infections statewide.
    Both of the new deaths are on Oahu.
    Of the new cases, 60 were on Oahu, eight were on the Big Island and three were in Maui County.
    Additionally, six cases were diagnosed out-of-state.
    The infections push the statewide total for cases since the pandemic began to 14,911. More than 3,200 of those are still “active,” which means they have not been released from isolation.

    Hawaii reported 62 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday while decreasing the official death toll of the virus in the islands by two to 213.
    The state Health Department said the death toll was corrected after two fatalities (one on Lanai and one on Maui) were “determined not to be related to COVID-19.”
