Hawaii has set a date of reopening Trans-Pacific travel on August 1st. However, there are some important details to know before you book your next trip to Hawaii.

For many of us, myself included, this has been the news that we’ve been waiting for. Wondering when Hawaii will reopen and what it’ll be like once Hawaii opens back up to tourism has been on a lot of people’s minds. The beauty of Hawaii hasn’t changed, but how you get there when Hawaii reopens will. Starting August 1st, Hawaii’s reopening date, you can avoid Hawaii’s mandatory 14-day quarantine by showing proof of a negative coronavirus test within 72 hours of traveling to Hawaii after it reopens.

Being from Southern California, I was raised on eating really great Mexican food. It's my favorite type of food. So, naturally anytime we travel to Hawaii I scout out places to eat Mexican food. However, in my opinion, it is hard to find really great Mexican food in Hawaii. That was until I ate at Margaritas Hawaii. This little hidden gem is the best Mexican food I have found in Hawaii.

We have all been affected by the Coronavirus Pandemic. For some, the thought of traveling to Hawaii may seem like a distant thought or wish.

For others, traveling to Hawaii is all they can think about. No matter where you’re at, we want to help clear the air and confusion of where Hawaii is at with their reopening efforts.

On all social media platforms, there is a lot of speculating of what the new normal will be for reopening Hawaii to tourism. At the time of this writing, we do not know the specifics of what out of state travel will look like in Hawaii.

What we do know is that interisland travel, without a 14-day quarantine, will end on June 16. This gives us some hope that the next phase in travel after interisland will be out of state travel.

In this episode, you’ll learn where Hawaii is currently in its reopening plan. Bryan will also unpack his opinion on when he thinks travel will be open back up to Hawaii.

As someone who is still learning and exploring the islands of Hawaii, it got me thinking about what is the best island to visit in Hawaii?

In researching this topic and from personal experience, when it comes to choosing the "best" island it is a matter of personal preference and your vacation goals. If you're traveling as a family the "best" island for you may be different than if you're a solo traveler. The best way to decide which is the best island for you is to visit each one. However, I realize that that may not be possible for most. So, I want to help provide you with this guide when it comes time to choose which island to visit.

The Hawaiian Islands are a chain of eight major islands. However, the total number of islands recognized is 137. All of the Hawaiian Islands are special and beautiful in their own way. The eight major Hawaiian Islands are Hawai'i (The Big Island), Maui (The Valley Isle), Oahu (The Gathering Place), Kauai (The Garden Isle), Molokai (The Friendly Isle), Lanai (The Pineapple Isle), Nihau (The Forbidden Isle), and Kahoolawe (The Target Isle).
