After a looooong layoff, Brian and Zach are back this week to offer up some thoughts on the state of your Iowa Hawkeyes as spring football officially closes. On this episode, we react (and probably overreact) to some spring coach speak, including the “cash” position and other potential new looks on defense and the buzz around a pair of Freshmen WR. For probably the final time, we heap accolades on the best TE tandem in Iowa history. We then examine Iowa's results in the NFL draft and ponder how that might lead to future success for Iowa. Finally, we take a look at the always reliable spring two deeps (read: written in very light pencil) and offer up a "wish list" for what we want to see on the official Week 1 depth chart. As always, the spring leaves us with the hope and optimism of what could be coming, but leaves us with just one burning question - is it August 31 yet?
