Tom Ballard talks about his experience with Bipolar disorder and how heart rocks and the Savior have helped him as well as so many others all around the world. His experience has definitely been guided by divine inspiration.
When you show you care or let someone else know they are loved, it will come full circle and the spirit will testify that you are loved as well.
Be vulnerable in your prayers. The Lord will meet you where you are, even and especially when we are in the trenches. He will lift you up and walk with you. YOU MATTER!
If you want your own heart rock or know someone who would benefit from having one, please reach out to and follow him on instagram @takeheart.rocks or visit his website. Our family loves passing our heart around to remind us that someone cares.
Sweet Cami (@camimosscoaching) joined us today to share her thoughts on grief and loosing her Dad at 9 years old. At times when she felt there was nothing to hold onto she would just pray.
Those prayers through her faith brought EVENTUAL miracles in her life.
Do we trust God enough to know things will be made right, even if it's not the way we intended?
As you look back on your life, what are some tender mercies you have seen? Those are the miracles and hope we can hang onto in desperate times.
September was suicide awareness month and Lauralyn (@lauralyn_m) joined us to share her experience of loosing her cousin way too early. She found strength in her family, and sweet tender moments in the temple.
She wants everyone to know that their story matters and that God is in the details of our lives. Seek and ask for the things you need. He wants you to reach out to Him and partake in the atonement that is individualized for each of us. The Savior is there to balance things out and give each of our experiences purpose.
I loved chatting with @laryssa.mower. Laryssa is full of energy and light. Laryssa talks about how hard after hard kept lining up for her and needing to feel loved. As she rocked her sweet baby trying to comfort her cries, she was crying herself wondering who would comfort her as the mother. She then felt loving arms around her letting her know she wasn't alone.
My challenge to all of us, is to REMEMBER and look back to recognize how the Savior has showed up for us in our lives. Whether it's journaling, or looking at pictures like Laryssa, when we see Him in our past we are more inclined to have hope and see Him in the future.
Alyssa talks about her mission experience in Guatemala and ending up in the hospital before coming home. She felt bitter and abandoned, but over time through healing she came to know that Heavenly Father had a plan for her. She has a testimony that Christ is an integral part of out lives.
Taylor @imperfect.life.coaching shares her ups and downs of balancing grief and depression at the same time. She has seen the Lord show up for her multiple times when she encounters forks in the road. I couldn't stop taking notes. Take a listen and be uplifted and strengthened!
I loved the send off quote she shared, so I'll put it here. "Failure is not falling down, it's staying where you have fallen."
So happy to welcome Pricilla Davis @shesharesgoodness to our live today. She shares her journey as a convert to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and mental health onset as a teenager. She is a beautiful wife and mother of 3. She has a strong testimony of Christ's atonement in her life and knows that is helps her in her PERSONAL struggles. The atonement is not just for sinners, but for those lonely, burdened, hurt, anxious, and SO MUCH MORE.
Megan shares her experience of loosing her Dad to cancer and the start of her journey with foster care. She is an incredible singer, song writer, wife, and Mother. So grateful she was willing to share her talents with us today. Her song "Heavy" was the perfect way to close this Instagram Live. Hope you enjoy.

Welcome, Welcome! Hi, I'm Janaca. In this first season we are coming to you straight from Instagram Live. So you will definetly be getting the raw and the real. In this first episode, I share how this idea of sharing our stories came to be.
I also share my story and feelings of my Dad being taken to Prison when I had no idea that anything was going on inn the fist place.
There were plenty of moments during this time where Christ showed up for me personally and was there by my side helping me make sense of it all.
Being Vulnerable isn't always easy, but I believe when we open up and share (when we are ready of course), light enters in and touches the hearts of others in their time of need.
Here's to hoping and building a safe community where voices can be heard and we can strengthen each other. If you don't feel like you have a story to share... I'm sure you do. I will be addressing that down the road a little more if you're interested.
