"Mila is a gift" is the thought that came to @a.bridgett.farmer after grieving her daughter's diagnosis. What's next, she wondered? Bridgett poured her heart and soul into learning and research to find answers and help anyone else who may experience what she and her family are going through.
Sometimes we are handed trials that change our plans, but can have faith that His plan will be better and greater than our own. Through struggle, we are made strong.
Sometimes our prayers aren't answered right away, but through the small tender moments we can realize they are being heard.
Sharing our experiences with others helps to shine light on hard circumstances we all are going through. People who may feel buried or overwhelmed may begin to see a glimmer of light shine through the darkness when we share hope.
Let's reach out of our comfort zones and be Christlike examples to build connections instead tearing others down. Let's choose to be kind and understanding as the Savior would. Especially when others are different from ourselves.
Come listen while Candice Norris @ablondegirlwholovesjesus shares her story of having a benign brain tumor at the base of her skull and how all the stars aligned to make a risky surgery possible. Through her trial she was blessed that the fog would clear...and it did.
Some of my favorite thoughts and takeaways were:
-Struggle is part of our faith building experience
-There is no trial quota. Each trial prepares us for the next.
-The Lord know and is aware of us. He blesses us with our own parables to learn and grow.
-Trust the equipment!
Where do you turn when things get hard?
Elizabeth Child @swordoftruthstories shares her experience of struggling with depression and self harm in high school. It was definitely a refining moment in her life when she felt Christ's love for her but knew some things needed to change.
In a world of quick copying mechanisms and quick stimulating actions, it is sometimes hard to remember the most important source to turn to, our Father in Heaven.
I know that as we focus our efforts on connecting with Him first, we will be blessed beyond measure. More deep and abounding answers and help will come as we make Him our go to in difficult times.
I really love connecting with all of you and learning together with the spirit from our life's refining moments. Know you are not alone. We can hold on together.
Elder Castleton @thehopewithinus shares his testimony of how Christ showed up for him throughout his life. He has been blessed with the opportunity to become a service missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His mission didn't start that way, but with life long health concerns that altered those plans, he has now been called to share his music with the world.
He wants us all to find the hope within us.
As his health continues to decline, he continues to be uplifted and have faith in the Lord's plan.
Help him share this message of hope and joy by listening and sharing his music. God is truly in the details of his life, and all of our lives.
Emma Ellis @poherful shares her testimony of how Christ showed up for her during the crippling times of PMDD. The temple became a special place where she can learn and grow closer to her Heavenly Father, find peace, comfort, and so much more.
She started attending the temple more regularly to test out the promise made from our beloved prophet President Nelson that "the Lord will bring the miracles He knows you need". She has seen that promise fulfilled in her own life by small and simple things.
God is aware of us, and cares about everything we are going through. Let Him in and He will guide you in your journey.
Sarah @lightpathcoaching shares how Christ came to her at the sweet age of 13 where she felt an upside down shift in her life. She described it as a mystical experience.
We all encounter waves of Challenges and view things from different angles that might make us feel like we are not enough. As we cycle around in life, we don't fall back to square one, but are being refined in our experiences and perspectives.
If you are one looking for tangible praise and outside sources, I invite you to look inward and feel Christ's love for you! His love is more fulfilling and more eternal.
Allison shares how Christ guided her into becoming a foster parent which led to some struggles and some even bigger blessings. Christ is definitely in the details of our lives and will guide us to know what He needs us to do to strengthen ourselves and those around us.
She brings up the importance of having faith over fear! The Lord knows the bigger picture. The unknown can be fearful, but we can have faith that things will work together for our good. When we feel like we are not enough, believe you are and notice how the Lord will make up the difference. As we follow our promptings amazing things can happen.
Come listen to the beautiful Grace Benson @mysistersrevolution share her experience of finding the love of Christ through overcoming masterbation and an eating disorder. Christ met her where she was and taught her through studying the Book of Mormon that she was a divine daughter of God.
The adversary's greatest tactic is to make us feel like we are alone in what we are going through. But, we are not alone. We all struggle and can rely on our Savior to lift us up and out of the dark. He can make our story beautiful.

Sonrisa @onceuponsonrisa shares her experience as a teenager going off to Vegas with some friends and driving back home with her parents just a couple hours later.
This experience paved the way for other choices, but allowed her to also know that her Heavenly Father knew her and loved her for who she was.
Our Savior is standing ready to help us feel loved in any circumstance. What a blessing it is for Him to allow us to keep trying.
Don't give up. You are seen, even when you're not perfect. Charity is the pure love of Christ.
