The struggle is real... but with Christ all things are possible. Have you ever felt like you were drowning?
Lynzi @whyistaypodcast shares a beautiful analogy and testimony of learning to swim and how it has influenced her life. When things seem just out of reach, keep reaching for Christ. The touch of His finger tips will keep your trust growing and give you hope.
She encourages everyone to write down your experiences so you can look back and see Christ in your life. He is in the details. We couldn't grow if things were easy, but He is there to help us in the hard.
Adoption seems to be a hot topic this month, so I thought I would chime in to share out sweet experience with adoption.
Our sweet boy just turned 9 years old and has brought lots of joy, growth, and learning into our home.
Adoption is such a blessing.
Chronic Illness is no joke, but Lizz Romney reminds us that God will be there helping us carry our burdens.
She is coming up on one year of being diagnosed and has grown closer to her Heavenly Father because of this. The power of prayer brings her peace.
Navigating this illness alongside her family has been a blessing. Their priorities have come into focus of wanting to be an eternal family. They rely on each other for support and connection. Scripture study, routines, and journaling have also helped them choose a happy life.
We can recognize the hard by also focus on the good to lift us up in the love of Christ.
Go check out her Happy by Design Journal on her page, or come to our Refine Me Gathering on April 20th to be entered to take one home.
"Because He lives, I can do tomorrow." My Mom's sweet friend Cheryl joined me today to talk about the influence one person can make by reaching out and befriending another. After her mom left their family when she was 8 years old, she just knew she wanted to get back to church. She ended up walking to church and sitting by herself at age 9, until Bette Howick befriended and sat by her. Bette is my dear Grandma who was a convert to the church and didn't want anyone to feel alone, even if they smelled like smoke.
Cheryl also had an experience later in her life when she was shocked to find out her father was not her biological father.
She has been lead and guided through these experiences with the help of the Lord. She is grateful for His influence in her life and the help of friends that accept her as she is.

Join us as we chat with Nicole @thoughtbossnicole about her relationship journey through foster care and her attachment in her own family relationships.
Most of us think being part of a family is meant to bring joy, peace, and belonging. Which in all essence it does! But what happens when we feel misunderstood, ignored, or abandoned in those family relationships?
Nicole touches on the importance of recognizing the love our Heavenly Father in heaven has for us so that we can find love for ourselves. When we feel loved, it's easier to love others.
When we build trust in God we can start to ask, how are these challenges going to benefit me, instead of wondering why we were given challenges. If we trust Him and feel of His love, we can look and notice the benefits of growth within our journey.
So much goodness was shared. We need to let go of comparison when it comes to our hard. Even though all of our circumstances may be different, the feelings experienced are just as validated as the next persons. Hard is hard, and feelings make things relatable.
Hope you enjoy listening and learning how to rely on yourself and Heavenly Father to build you up to the beautiful person you are and how strengthen your relationships.

Join me as I hear from Heidi @heidishewcoaching as she shares her testimony of being strong through the hard. She is a wife and mother to 3 daughters, plus a special birth daughter. She shares her story of how she relied on the scriptures and straying strong among lots of options during the adoption process. She now recognizes God's hand behind the scenes and in the details of preparing a way.
She also reminds us that through our trials it's ok to NOT be ok. It took her three years to open up and share about her experience.
If there is ever a time God needs you to share and uplift someone else through your story, you will know. And, if we follow through, great blessings and connection will come. You never know who it might impact because of the relatability our experiences
can bring.
Share your light and it will shine even brighter.

Are you wanting to be more spiritually and temporally prepared?? Shayla @ldspreppergirl is here to cheer you on and help you each step of the way. Back before the official craziness of 2020, she remembers feeling prompted to start focusing on preparing her family for anything that was to come, and boy was that great timing. Then, about a year later she had a spiritual awakening of sorts to go all in and strengthen her foundation as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She encourages us all to start where we are right now and build upon that. She likes to say that preparedness = peace. Being prepared is not just for natural disasters. It has helped so many people during job loss, injury, and even allows you to help others.
Be prayerful about what you should focus on and you will be guided to know what your family needs. I know the Lord will magnify your efforts and you will be blessed.

The Lord needs those who are willing to share His gospel and bring light into the world. Carrie @carrieyostmusic joined me today to share her story of strengthening her faith and CHOOSING to believe.
We don't need to know everything. The Savior can help us with our unbelief.
He will magnify our calling as we follow Him and doors will open.
Go check out Carrie's beautiful work over on Youtube. Her new release is a children's song called "Walk God's Covenant Path."
Remember you are loved and you are not alone in your journey. We are all going through something and have stories to share about Christ's refining power in our lives. He can make us whole and guide us on our own individual path.

Listen as @lynnettesheppard shares her experience of learning to trust the Lord even when things seem uncertain and a little (a lot) caotic. Sometimes the path we are led down doesn't make sense, but God is not a God of explanation. He gives us experiences that help us build out trust in Him.
When the Lord asks, "Do you trust me?", how many of us respond
with , "Yeah, But..."? It is hard to trust fully sometimes with the limited knowledge we have. His knowledge is so much greater than our own. He sees what we cannot, and will walk alongside us as our story develops. Keep the faith. Marvelous things are unraveling for your good and others around you.

Hang out with @jessica_leigh_duncan as she joins us from work to share how Christ has shown up for her in her journey. She actually started by saying, when has He NOT been in my story? That’s something to think about. Can you think of a time when Christ hasn’t played a role in your life? It might seem so at times, but that’s why I love sharing these stories. It helps me recognize that He is there through it all. So grateful she could make this time work.
