Join me, Alison Elizabeth as we begin our 15 devotional series of prayers and read out of Mark 14:61-62 which says "61 But Jesus remained silent and gave no answer. Again the high priest asked him, “Are you the Messiah, the Son of the Blessed One?” 62 “I am,” said Jesus. “And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven.”

"Today I wanted to focus on the fact that He was nothing like they had imagined. He wasn’t a rich man. He wasn’t a king. He wasn’t royalty. He was a carpenter. He was a friend of sinners. He was a man who changed the world. He was the son of God.

 

To apply this scripture you must understand the power of that sentence. The power behind His declaration of being the son of God. He was the chosen one. He was the savior and they were too blind to see it.

 

I hope we don’t live our life too blind to see Jesus when He stands right in front of us.  I hope when we see God move in our life, we don’t have to question if it was Him or not. I hope we become so familiar with Him that we never have to ask the question, are you the son of God. I hope we grow such a deep relationship with Him that we know with every fiber in us, that He is who He says He is. "
