Having to deal with the negative impact of its China policy, the US has recently expressed its intention to increase high-level contacts. On June 18th and 19th, the U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken was in Beijing for talks on managing tensions in the highest-level U.S. visit since President Joe Biden took office. And during the meeting, Chinese President Xi Jinping urged actions to stabilize and improve China-US relations.
