Hey Boss! Please allow me to introduce myself. You can call me Yer or Nina. I am an Asian American, specifically Hmong. I was born in Visalia, California but for the most part I lived in Minnesota my whole life. I am currently 27 years old at the time of this video. I've decided to stop the 9-5 and follow my passion. My mission is to empower and share my healing journey with the world. I am a survivor from child s***** abuse (CSA). My journey started at the age of 15-16, that was I started to realize the vivid and disturbing memories that felt like dreams were actually real. I didn't know at the time why I kept seeing them but once the question was brought up about odd parts of my body it opened the door. I went through denial, acceptance of reality, anger, PTSD, and then there was even a high of feeling "unstoppable" like I could anything in the world. It was however short lived because I started to have nightmares and I couldn't figure out why. It wasn't until the age of 25-26 when I found forgiveness through Jay Shetty's Book, "Think like a Monk" that I knew it was what I was missing my whole life. My nightmares went away and ever since forgiveness I've become more positive and empathetic. A whole decade it took me to truly be happier and at peace. In September 2022 I then went on a solo trip to Thailand for 6 months. There I worked on practicing self-love, being independent and in solitude. I was on a mission to discover myself and potentially find my purpose in life. I called this journey Project.findingme and yes, I accomplished everything I was hoping for if not more. Everything led me to this exact moment of sharing who I am and what my mission is. I wish to create an environment where one can be vulnerable, feel safe, and grow. I want to build friendships where we can uplift each other and spread only kindness and positivity. Most importantly I want to help prevent generational trauma and bring awareness in this area. So! With that being said, I've decided to start by opening my very own Podcast. My podcast is titled Yer.Bossy, which is designed to empower you that YOU'RE.bossy! To be the Boss of everything that comes your way. You have the ability to choose how YOU react because there is no one that can make you feel anything. You can also choose how YOU want to live your life. Nothing defines you and you create your own destiny. And no matter what comes your way, you keep building that staircase to your goals because YOU are the Boss. In Yer.Bossy Podcast I reveal my story and my healing journey with all of you bosses out there! I will also focus on self-love, purpose, and physical and mental health.
