For decades, misleading dietary advice vilified fats, leading to the rise of low-fat and fat-reduced products. However, this trend has inadvertently done more harm than good.
While we know that all fats are not created equal, fats play a crucial role in our overall well-being.
So today, I want to uncover one of these crucial roles that no one is talking about, sift through which fats we need, and ultimately, help you ensure that your body receives the vital nutrients it needs.

Nutritional science is somewhat new and with the ever-increasing complexity of dietary trends and information, I wanted to use this episode to talk about how you can can nourish your body without resorting to harsh restrictive diets or succumbing to the latest food trends. But rather emphasize achievable goals and a non-judgmental perspective.
I drew inspiration from Michael Pollan's work and highlight some of my favorite food rules that provide practical guidance on how we should be eating.

In this thought-provoking podcast episode, I reflect on how society, largely unaware of the intricacies of menstrual flow, fails to accommodate women adequately. Us women, however, we can adopt a transformative concept: the cycle strategy—a framework that empowers women to align their lives with their menstrual cycles, which is a complete game-changer.
Through understanding our own cycles, we can actively reshape our routines, work environments, and relationships to harness the full potential of each phase every month.

Why don't we talk more about the benefits of slowing down in life and taking things one step at a time?
In our fast-paced world, we often feel pressured to hustle and achieve success quickly, but this mindset can be counterproductive and lead to burnout. Instead, by slowing down and being present in the moment, we can appreciate the journey and enjoy life more fully.
In this episode, I highlight the importance of being mindful and intentional with our time, and how this can help us prioritize what's truly important in our lives.
I share my personal practical tips and strategies for slowing down and living a more balanced life. Ultimately, I really hope this episode inspires listeners to embrace a slower, more intentional approach to life and find more joy and fulfillment in the process.

What does non-toxic really mean? There are so many regulations that allow a lot of chemicals to still enter the consumer market. While one trace amount might not be a big deal, we need to consider the constant and repetitive exposure, and what this is doing to our health. In today’s episode I sit down with Stephanie Spurgen and we deep dive into areas that might be more harmful than we think and what we can do to improve our health.
Steph is a trained Functional Nutritionist, the host of the Health in the Details Podcast and founder of the education platform Picture Your Health. She knows health goes far beyond whats on your plate and understands that approaching holistic health can often feel like you’re just piecing all together. Her educational platform aims to make health fun and put the whole picture together for you so you can see what your health and life could look like.

Are there certain foods that you absolutely love but can't help feeling guilty about? Maybe it's a slice of your favorite pizza or a decadent dessert that always leaves you feeling a little ashamed. Well, in this episode, I’m here to tell you that it doesn't have to be that way.
I dive into the societal norms and cultural conditioning that have made us feel guilty for enjoying certain foods, and explore how this guilt can actually harm our relationship with food and our bodies. I intend to challenge the notion of "good foods" versus "bad foods" and discuss how this mindset can lead to a disordered relationship with food.
Join me in this episode as I delve into the concept of pleasure and why it's so important to allow ourselves to enjoy the foods we love without guilt or shame. Let’s shift our mindset and embrace a more positive relationship with food, so we can enjoy our favorite foods with joy and appreciation!

Today, I talk about the challenges of maintaining optimal nutrition as a mother, particularly when faced with the demands of daily life. While diet is crucial for providing the nutrients our bodies need to function, it can be difficult to get everything we require from food alone.
I discuss the benefits of incorporating nutritional supplements into our routines to support our energy levels and overall wellbeing. We explore a few key nutrients that are especially important for mothers, such as iron and B vitamins, and discuss practical strategies for incorporating supplements into our busy lives, such as creating a supplement routine and while including a supportive diet. Join me as we explore the power of nutritional supplementation and discover new ways to boost our energy and support our health as mothers.
