The Health Nutt Podcast is back with fresh episodes, guests, and content!
Our first guest is Dr. Sarah Johnson, a Dallas Chiropractor specializing in a technique called Network Spinal. Network is a gentle and effective way to connect to and call safety into the nervous system, allowing the patient to move freely and unwind tension held in the body from stress, unprocessed emotions, physical trauma, and microtraumas caused by not utilizing our body's incredible ability to move.
Dr. Sarah and her husband, Dr. Homer, own Next Level Chiropractic in Farmers Branch, TX. They are both certified Network Spinal practitioners and teachers of the technique, traveling all around the US to teach other Chiropractors.
This conversation is extremely heart-centered and beautiful example of a strong, female Chiropractor, mother, and wife, creating her life for her and her family by her highest design.

Dr. Will is the owner and creator of Slak, an innovative training concept that combines balance training with meditation and Chiropractic with the goal of improving the health of the brain. Balance training has been shown to improve the vestibular system and as a result, creates neuroplasticity (changes in the brain) which improve cognitive and motor function. Simply put, balance training heals your brain!
Dr. Will and Dr. Nutt were classmates in Chiropractic school. Join us as Dr. Will shares his journey since graduation, talks about his hardships and successes, and how he maintained his positivity and continued to grow through it all.

Carly Truitt, fitness coach and co-owner of BTY (Better Than Yesterday)-a gym in her hometown of Marysville, OH-joins Dr. Nutt to chat around the hemispheres of nutrition and stress, fitness and movement, and so much more.
Carly shares with us that the philosophy behind BTY and her approach to fitness and health is to create small, seemingly insignificant steps every single day that are just a LITTLE better than yesterday. Over time, these small steps add up and before you know it you are noticeably more energetic, feel more alive, and have more confidence and joy in your life.
If you find yourself confused and stuck in your nutrition and fitness goals, give this a listen! We discuss factors not commonly spoken or thought of that have huge impacts on our health and often stand in the way of reaching our goals.

IFBB Pro Fitness Model Tawna McCoy joins Dr. Nutt to discuss her battle with Breast Implant Illness.
After months of worsening symptoms and a sense of her body falling apart, Tawna became frustrated with the lack of answers from her doctors. She knew something was seriously wrong, but all her tests came back normal and her doctors continued to tell her she was healthy and that her symptoms were in her head.
As a last resort, Tawna decided to have an explant surgery to remove her breast implants, which she had for 9 years. Finally, she began to feel better and her hope for better health returned.
Tawna's experience parallels thousands of women with similar symptoms after receiving breast implants. Her story is a reminder of the choices we make and their unintended consequences on our long term health.
