This document is a systematic review and meta-analysis published in the journal Healthcare in 2023 by Lee, Jeon, and Yoon, titled "Effects of Exercise Intervention (With and Without Joint Mobilization) in Patients with Adhesive Capsulitis."
The authors investigated the impact of exercise alone versus exercise combined with joint mobilization on shoulder range of motion (ROM), subjective function, and pain recovery in individuals diagnosed with adhesive capsulitis (frozen shoulder).
The research aimed to provide evidence-based conclusions to help determine the most effective conservative rehabilitation methods for this condition.
Their findings indicate that both interventions are beneficial, with joint mobilization enhancing ROM, while exercise alone showed a greater impact on subjective function and pain relief.

This academic article, published in Healthcare in 2024, presents a research study investigating the effects of dynamic stretching combined with manual therapy on patients suffering from adhesive capsulitis, commonly known as frozen shoulder.
The study compared two groups: one receiving dynamic stretching plus manual therapy (DSMT) and another receiving static stretching plus manual therapy (SSMT), over a four-week period.
Key measurements included pain levels, range of motion (ROM), shoulder function, and quality of life.
The findings suggest that both interventions significantly improved pain, ROM (flexion and abduction), function, and quality of life, but the DSMT group showed additional significant improvements in shoulder external and internal rotation and general health compared to the SSMT group.
The authors emphasize that dynamic stretching should be integrated into a comprehensive treatment plan.

The purpose of this study is to determine the mid/long term shoulder function in patients with complete deltoid paralysis and intact rotator cuff.
27 patients with at least 2-years FU were included.

Degenerative tendinopathy results from the accumulation of minor injuries following unsuccessful tendon repair during acute tendon injuries.
The process of tendon repair is prolonged and varies between individuals, making it susceptible to reinjury.
Moreover, treating chronic tendinopathy often requires expensive and extensive rehabilitation, along with a variety of combined therapies to facilitate recovery.
This condition significantly affects the quality of life of affected individuals, underscoring the urgent need for more efficient and cost-effective treatment options.
Although traditional treatments have improved significantly and are being used as substitutes for surgical interventions, the findings have been inconsistent and conflicting.
This review aims to clarify these issues by exploring the strengths and limitations of current treatments as well as recent innovations in managing various forms of degenerative tendinopathy.

This preprint from the Society for Transparency, Openness and Replication in Kinesiology (STORK) examines the effects of single-set resistance training on muscular adaptations, comparing training to momentary muscular failure (FAIL) versus training with two repetitions-in-reserve (RIR-2).
The study involved young, resistance-trained individuals and assessed changes in muscle thickness, strength, power, and endurance over an eight-week period, alongside participants' ability to estimate RIR.
While both training methods showed appreciable muscular gains, training to failure demonstrated modestly greater hypertrophy and power in some areas, though not in strength or endurance.
The research also highlighted that individuals could accurately estimate RIR after a brief explanation, with accuracy improving over time and being superior in the bench press compared to the squat.
