It is possible to love where you live, and you should. If you don’t, you can absolutely move, but if that isn’t the plan, there are many other changes you can make to create a home environment that you and your family love to come home to.
It is too easy to complain and blame someone else for a problem, challenge, or how you are feeling at any given moment. When you decide to look inward, and choose to see how you can better yourself, choose differently, or help someone else solve an issue, your life truly begins to change. Challenge and empower yourself this week to look inward, when your reaction many times wants you to look outward to find someone to blame.
Regardless of what choice you have made, please remember that you can always choose again. Remind yourself of this with any choice that you question, or wish you would have chosen differently. Pause, and choose again.
Every day you should strive for these 3 wins. This is a reminder that our health is composed of our mind, body, and spirit. Start to approach your choices every day for your whole self. It will make all the difference.
It is possible to change how you are feeling right now, but you have to move, and redirect your focus. We really can control our mood and how we are feeling. There are two things that can help. Change your physiology, meaning stand up, walk outside, sit up straight, take a deep breath, or move in some other way. Second, change your focus. This is one of your powers. You “get” to control this.
Yes, there are a lot of good choices we can make more of. But, let us also pay attention to what we need less of. There are many choices that can change your health, by just saying no and choosing less of what is stressing you out.
Let’s make 2025 the year of less drama, negativity, sugar, processed food, and more. You got this. Change your choices, change your life.
We get overwhelmed by all of the options, social media posts, supplements and more. This year I want you to change your mindset and change your habits, one small choice at a time. More of the good stuff, and less of the bad. Little by little. Over and over again.
Challenge: Find one or two choices that you can focus on this week, to just be better than you were yesterday.
Resources: Prayer. Rest. Boundaries. Movement.
